can't wait to get big and strong. Thanks OP

    • A single scoop of this is not going to do anything lol. It's more about consistent usage long term.

      • +29

exactly. I would recommend dividing this one scoop over 60 days

        • sorry my bad bro, never underestimate what adding an extra 0.33g of daily protein will do to your gains

        • LOL

    • snort it

This type of deals should be under competition because it always seems like 50/50 chance on whether the company wants to honor this or not lol.

    Hmm.
'Please note submitting this form does in no way guarantee a free sample, correct promotional code & complete delivery address must be supplied& any duplicates will be removed, samples will only be supplied upon availability*'

    • Yep. Probably wise to use throwaway details

Such a waste of petrol to get one scoop of protein to you.

    • Yeah not unlike people getting a specific brand of toilet paper home delivered when they can just get it at the supermarket with their weekly shop

      • +1

Carrying 45 rolls bit different to one scoop of protein but get your sentiment. Most couriers would be doing multiple deliveries so not doubt in the area.

Don't need any regardless, good not to hand over your details for nothing much.

    • fwiw - often single-serve protein samples are sent in letters many of which are being delivered by Aus Posts 4,000 electric bikes. Arguably physical letters that 'could just be an e-mail' is more wasteful than a physical product like this.

  • Thanks

  • Thank you!

  • Noice thanks!

  • Thnx

  • We just started buying "100% Whey" from this same brand on Amazon,

    Any better value//affordable quality suggestions?

    • +4

wait for amino z deal on ozbargain

    • Yes. Stick to Aussie brands. Cheapest Aus/NZ source tends to be Professional Whey.

      • VPA is pretty good (& Bulk Nutrients).

Also most people consume too much but no doubt it's half mental to encourage you to go to the gym.
I can get everything from plants but powder is less fussing around and a bit extra protein once a day or so.
Funny meat eaters scoffing so much chicken, tuna and meat then still need protein powder.

        • +1

People who also take protein powder are probably sticking to the recommended ideal intake (for strength gain and hypertrophy) of around 1.5g/kg.

Even people who eat chicken in every meal can struggle to hit that.

Your advice that "most people consume too much" is wrong.

          • @Wolfenstein98k: Agree, the recommended intake is 0.8g/kg for sedentry people and about 1.2g/kg or so for athletes.

People trying to gain muscle would be up to doulbe sedentary ~1.5g/kg as you say.
Talk to others in the gym and some people are trying to hit 2g/kg plus which is just a waste and won't be absorbed - just places strain on the kidneys and liver.

The point was they should be achiving it if eating a lot of meat, no need to shakes 3 times a day or anything.
Excess protein still goes to fat too was the point.

    • Bulk nutrients

  • Nice ! thanks OP.

That's dinner sorted out ! (If it arrives)

  • Well still nothing…

    • Guess they got your details at least.
Just go and buy some protein powder, ON is decent you won't have any issue with the taste. One serve isn't going to do anything, but people like free stuff

      • I've used ON in the past, I was just keen to try the plant based. I don't like though having my details taken for nothing in return haha

        • Agree that sucks.. Good work - plant based is healthier than whey and casein i'm sure it would be fine.

I don't think one sample would be enough anyway to get an idea.
It's just taste and mixability you need to confirm (but it's a decent enough brand).

I just got 2x 2kg of Musashi plant based last sale at CW @ $54 each.
I've heard Bulk Nutrients is good,i have got VPA Pea protein before, is a little bit grainy on it's own but good enough and tastes good in a smoothie.
