    Good luck breaking them in, it took me 2 years and still my feet hurt. Converse is easy.

          One thing you need to consider when buying shoes is that your feet will swell the warmer they get.

          The shoes are already quite wide and being canvas there really shouldn't be a significant breaking in period.

          That said there are good methods for breaking them in, in a more pain free method if you don't want to just go up a half size.

      Great timing though! My current pair of Adidas leather something rather has lasted me good over the last 4 years on the motorbike around town. These should be a decent replacement with the raves here and hopefully will last a good year until I move overseas.

      Correct me if I'm wrong, but these are normally skate shoes yeah? So a little more reinforcement around the toebox I assume? Or atleast more rugged? Fingers crossed!

          I was trying to say, reinforced in the toe area for quality of materials. So like, longer wearing material I assumed for people who do a bit of kick moves on a skateboard. Just wondering for how long it'll last on the right side for upshifts on the bike.. 😅

              @Yub: Suede apparently is stronger than canvas supposedly. Wonder how thin they feel though. Also, suede is not great with water I don't think so might not want to get caught in too many rain showers. 😅

        These are just the basic model with minimal cush. The skate models that have the more durable toe area and nicer insole are usually have "skate" in the title. Easily identifiable by the extra chequered tag on the side too.

        Now im over 40 I always buy the akate models because my feet cant take a full day in the basic ones anymore 😆 ultra/popcush is life!

          Ohhhh, I get what you mean. Those ones look PLUSH as! I think these are the ones I may have picked up in a store once before. I remember seeing that chequered tag too, thanks!

          Hmmm, maybe just resell them? 😅 These had the same colourway, even the gum bottom as my previous pair of shoes. I'll give them a go anyway and see how they feel when they turn up. 😁
