      1. Lightning ports max out at 20W.
      2. A hypothetical future phone feature is no use for your phone (or lightning iPad) today.
      • +1

To support 20W charging, must use usb-c to lightning cable.
USB-A cable doesn't support fast charging.

        • 10A charging is still possible, maybe even 12A.

USB-C on iPhone 15, let's wait till Apple officially announce it. Could Apple enforce e-marking to enable fast charge? If so, lots of cheap USB-C cables won't get fast charging. Android makers love including USB 2.0 USB-C cables with no e-marking chip. Apple could get even nastier and enforce only cables whitelisted by Apple (doubtful, but you'd never know).

@netsurfer: Or wireless charging only 🤯

            • -1

@GregRust: Unlikely because that cable costs too much. Also, Apple's claim on not including a charger because it will be better for the environment will become a lie (since wireless charging wastes more energy).

USB-C with USB 2.0 only on standard iPhone 15 seems likely, not because Apple cannot do USB 3.0, but more to protest EU forcing Apple to go USB-C. Probably introduce yet another USB-C charger (i.e. 25W).

            • @GregRust: I would love that!
Hopefully they dont use Qi and something new because thats just not true wireless but I am being too optimistic

    How does below stack?

    3 pack 3ft USB-C MFi certified

    • Different product but seems a better deal if you’ve got plenty of usb-c around

  • Thanks mate

If the upcoming iPhone 15 really has USB C and I upgrade to it at the end of the year then I will throw away all the lightning cables I have.
    Good deal though.

    • throw them my way.

  • +1

Looking to change my iPhone to 15 later this year, time to swap Lightning cables to USB-C cables.

  • 3ft sold out. 6ft still available.

  • Quality looks good but I don't think it's MFI as I can't connect phone to PC.

    Will request return.

  • Didn’t know 2 pack meant Amazon would deliver the 2 pack, twice. Interesting for them to double deliver goods on two separate deliveries.
