But PLA was like <$10 a roll earlier today! Keep up ;)

  • No wood or metallic exotics here

  • Filament quality, what you pay what you get. Cheaper ones, give you poor quality of print.

Wouldn't say this is exactly the case especially when it comes to PLA. Other materials it can certainly be a mixed bag.

    • Not necessarily. You just need to invest a bit more time into fine tuning with cheaper stuff. Do EM, Linear advance and temp towers.

More mainstream brands will likely print easily out of the box with default settings.

Sort of. Filament with poor diametric tolerance or moisture control will print like garbage whatever the settings. FF make great filament though I have only used their ABS and PP. edit: I have actually used their volcano PLA. It's excellent stuff.

  • Anyone tried high speed printing with their rPLA? Keen to get some for my p1s machine, that moss grey, sangria red & turkish blue colors look so good in the picture

  • Dang, just ordered some black PLA from frankly's and paid shipping. Could have picked some rPLA up from you instead…

  • Looking for some metallic/silk rainbow (colour gradient).
