I find these shirts to be really excellent for identifying people I will have zero in common with or interest in.

    • +10

That's a bit harsh. If they don't wish to purchase one, that's on them.

    • Jeez, lighten up. People buy these as gifts for friends and family, and they're maybe worn once or twice for a laugh.

    Polyester. Ewww.

  • -3

i wonder if they will do plain text, because i badly need a new "im not learning any new pronouns so you can feel special" t shirt…

    • -8

What about “Need to broadcast my disinterest in pronouns cos I’m feeling threatened and marginalised by folks I don’t understand”?

      • -4

how about im a woke millennial or gen z'er who insists on finding new ways to divide society, because it wasnt already divided enough, because its all about me and my entitled needs?

        • -2

TBQH, I find the whole pronoun discourse tedious. Reckon it’s a bad move shoving such a vulnerable cohort into the limelight and encouraging them to alienate themselves even further.

Equally as tedious though, are the asshles who feel a need to make it their life’s purpose to let everyone know what hetero conservatives they are.

          The whole thing’s just a shark-jump imo

          • +4

@0jay: im just not prepared to actively divide society any further because i want attention and for people to treat me as special. Simples.

Not feeding the nonsense. I dont care what anyone identifies as/with, i dont enforce my choices on society, dont (profanity) do it to me, again, simples.

Also nice prejudgement that im "hetero" or "conservative"

            • -5

              @amosmilburn:

              not prepared to actively divide

You are, in fact, being actively divisive right now.

              • @0jay: Maybe you do english differently from where i come from…

And im bored feeding you, so thats enough

                Go be woke somewhere else

                • -1

@amosmilburn: You took a neutral (if in numbingly bad taste) t-shirt post and drew attention to yourself by making it about pronouns.

No call for it, no reason whatsoever to associate this post with pronouns yet you made it all about you and your dislike of the phenomenon.

Seems a lot like you’re doing the very thing you’re hating on ‘woke’ people for.

@0jay: i call out nonsense where i see it

i dont hate anyone, im mystified by people wanting everyone wanting to be treated as special

                    youre not special

youre human, start acting like one….

                  • @0jay: what a load of dingos kidneys.
It more seems you are threatened by someone who has a different opinion than yours tbh

Changing your pronouns to Xer or something would be less cringe than wearing a shirt like this lol sorry dude

    • +4

This thread. Christ dudes, it's a t-shirt. Chill ffs.

And what are your pronouns Mr Seamonkey??

I hear seahorses can be hermaphrodites, what about seamonkeys huh?

        • +2

Set up the account more than 14 years ago. That same year a guy I know was a cop and said he pulled over a driver. Driver has changed his name by deed poll to "The Naughty Little SeaMonkey" there it was right there printed on his genuine drivers licence. Enjoyed that so it was too topical at the time so I stole it. I haven't yet considered my pronouns, but possibly Water Elemental as my pronoun. Thanks for asking. 🤣😂

          • @seamonkey: Well mine are it/that so now you know you will kindly address me as such. Thankyouverymuch.

        • +2

Asking for pronouns whilst assuming they are a "Mr" is pretty funny

          • @pharcyde: I could care less what pronouns you use for me, cowbye.

I only care for Mr Seamonkey.

            • @0jay: Irony seemingly went over your head

          • +1

@pharcyde: Im actually Nigel, the worlds first openly non binary sea otter

Because why shouldnt less evolved animals get in on the nonsense

        • +3

hermaphrodites are the only people who should get to chose which sex they prefer to be known as…everyone else is either male or female, take it up with chromosomes if you have a problem

  • Honestly, these type of tshirts are super tacky. Graphic t-shirts are so mid 2000s.

Graphic t-shirts are so mid 2000s.

And what a time that was.
      No social media.
      No smartphones.
      Still had David Bowie.

This business is so dodgy. Bought a painting but when it arrived it looked nothing like the advertised image. Visa and lightinthebox made me pay to ship it back to China before they would refund me. Address was dodgy 4 times before a real address was provided. To top it off they didn’t even except the return and the painting came all the way back to me from China.

I hate this company for ripping me off and costing Australia post for shipping both ways.

    Visa were crap also.

    • +1

this is not to mention they claim the normal price is $75, as if anyones ever paid $75 for a single shirt from them

i had a similar thing with a set of in ear phones recently (advertised on here, never again), bought from ALi Express form the companies official store, told twice they would be delayed in shipping, when they arrived, they were addressed from a LOCAL sender, and were DOA. Contacted Ali and they wanted me to spend $35 of my own money to send them back to China, and refused to let me send them to the random drop shipper who actually sent them to me from 30 minutes up the road. Eventually made them see sense, return my money, then immediately closed my Ali account….

Please downvote this deal to increase prominence to your comment. It's worthwhile to highlight it.

Based on your experience, it is worthy of a neg and the reason why I have downvoted it. In addition to it being tacky.

Looks like my friends are getting some nice new T'shirts for Xmas! :)

  • Tried to order one that says "56 year old virgin" for myself but was declined??? So dumb.
