@U30004: I had 50% Airbnb deposit for a trip in Dec and in the eve we had the $50 cashback CBA deal - Airbnb were surprisingly so easy to deal with - they refunded the money back to my zip and I paid on my CBA to get $50 back. Zip credit came in 2 days - so good

@Leelee: When they've had the 10% offers, I've always missed out. Either they're sold out at 12:01am, or it's a limited event.

After buying Airbnb gift cards, you can just add it to your Airbnb account and it becomes part of your payment methods. In the process of making an Airbnb booking under payment page, you can select which gift card balance(s) to use. E.g. I had a booking for $730. I selected a $100, $200, $200, then a $500 one (it'll tell me $270 left remaining). I could've selected in a different order but I wanted to use up the smaller amounts first. You can also use part gift cards, and remaining balance paid with credit card, etc.

Yes. You purchase GCs, redeem into your Airbnb as credit into your Aus account. You can book overseas locations in AUD currency and draw from the credit in your account.
