I recommend this rts game! I have it on Steam. There is a single player campaign and skirmish modes, plus some DLC.
I got this game on sale like a month ago and finished it already. Really enjoyable for Homeworld and/or RTS fans. Took me around 10hrs to beat had a lot of fun.
Thanks very much for the heads up as I have had this on my wish list for so long now and very keen to grab it for free.
Finally a free game that won't sit on the pile of shame forever. Rare thing for me these days.How will I ever wait 8 days….

Then play Homeworld and be prepared for the third mission. Agnus Dei / Adagio for strings wrecks me every time
exiting hyperspace, seeing kharak in the background then hearing that music was gut wrenching.
For what i can tell to me this is like a modern version of the classic game called Command & Conquer.

Not really. While skirmish is similar to rts games, the campaign features quite limited resources and persistent units between missions.

This looks like a great game. I grabbed it to my game collection.
I also found that i had Homeworld Remastered Collection in my Epic Games collection. It must have been given away also on a previous giveaway because i don't remember buying it.
It was indeed. Missing Homeworld cataclysm however which is a shame as it was the one I enjoyed the most. The original source code was lost and somehow blizzard managed to legally force the name to change because of the conflict with wow cataclysm. This is despite the fact Homeworld cataclysm came first.
I believe homeworld remastered has been duplicated in the giveaways.
Oh Homeworld, make me your Kharak whore again…
