  • is the 3999 price tag a typo?

  • Is this a good price for a king turtle? I'm very tempted.

      yep

It's not just a king turtle, it's a JDM model with sapphire crystal and ceramic bezel. Excellent specs for the price.

      • JDM = boobies Tuesday day wheel ;0)

        • +1

Everyday is set to Tuesday on a JDM

          • @Muzeeb: Tuesday has no feel lol

The King turtle is a big boy, looks noticeably bigger than the steeldive and heavy. $400 it's a great deal though and factory sapphire.

Jomw YouTube review sums it up well.

          • @Muzeeb: JDM King Turtle arrived today. Very happy. Not the kanji Tuesday that I was expecting though.
            Two horizontal lines. Chinese numeric?

            • @Emeister: Life is full of disappointments.

Is it one horizontal line for Monday?

      • It would look great on you, do it.
(Didn't you want a big watch!?)

  • love this watch. would recommend.

Great price for a sapphire JDM, locally delivered. That murky green dial does nothing for me however. Now, if it was the bright manta instead…

    • green dial kills it for me though , sapphire and ceramic bezel appeals to me.

need to save coin for an Arnie deal :-(

  • +1

    Thanks watchnerd. Snapped one.
Been waiting for them to go back in stock at starbuy.

  • If the dial wasn't green, I'd be on it.

    • I just added some pics to the description which shows it better. Appears to be dark green.

  • King Turtle is a great watch, so tempting, but I already have Pepsi Turtle.
I wonder if Alpinist will ever be discounted by Starbuy. I think it’s actually starting to grow on me, even though it’s not the old Alpinist, but still looks cool.

    • Which model Pepsi Turtle do you have? They changed the model number some time back hence the older model is now going up in price.

      • I never could work out if there was anything different between the SRPA21K PADI and the SRPE99K other than the model number.

      • Nah, not that old model I guess, I have SRP779K from StarBuy, which was around $300, and I'm sure the deal was posted by you.

    • Green prospex alpinist $750 from Watch Direct. I don't think Starbuy have ever had the green one on sale

  • +2

I think the Noosa would look good on me

    • I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned already in this thread, it's the first time I've seen the price that low.

      • Also better than the new GMT models

        • GMTs are the new chronographs

          • @Astronaut Joe: Lol I just posted a sumo chrono

            • @rosebank: ahaha

although I'd prefer either the SSC741P (hardlex tho) or the SSC807J1 if I felt I had too much cash

Seiko King Turtle SRPE39K (Manta Ray Series Blue Dial) back on sale.

    • Seems a bit silly to mark the new deal as duplicate.

      • I didn't even see it & I'm not a mod. Just a regular member like you.

I wasn't implying you did. I see how my comment could read that way, though. My bad.
