I noticed some NAS these days have NVME drive bays for i think cache? or maybe they can also be used as extra storage. Is there any advantage to use them for Cache etc, if i am not doing much besides using those NAS bays to share content and perhaps one or 2 apps running on them

I mean it'll go in one of my laptops but will I update a secondary older drive in an old laptop, or will it replace the current laptop that I recently purchased in July (which only has one slot) ? decisions decisions!!Purchased thank you op, much needed space.

It won't plug into your sata slot. I also don't think an enclosure exists to convert nvme to sata 2.5" if that's what you're asking.
What motherboard do you have? It might have a m2 pcie slot.
If you have spare expansion slots on your mobo, there are nvme pcie adapters. The other option is to add it to an nvme usb enclosure and then use it as storage via usb.
Else look for a cheap 2.5" sata ssd.

You should work with BPC to be more honest with their customers or ditch them. It said 1-2 business days for postage handling. They sent me a tracking number yesterday so it looked like they had posted it in time but the tracking had no info for over 24hrs so I messaged them about it and they said it hadn't left their warehouse yet but it would at end of today. It's now been 3 business days well after the end of day and the tracking still shows nothing and I don't think they have sent it yet. Do you want Lexar associated with a company that lies?

Not today either, yet they said it was shipped yesterday and gave me a tracking number for me to waste my time checking over the last 24hours+ with zero tracking on it yet. They still havent shipped it but claim they have. Disgusting. 2 business days to ship was on the Ebay add so that was clearly a lie. How they have such a good feedback rating on Ebay is beyond me 🤷♂️

Attitudes like this is why companies get away with lying and continue to do it.. I for one do not appreciate being lied to by a company I just gave $240 to. It's the ultimate disrespect. Me too. Either Aus post tracking is useless or there is something fishy going on here. Apparenty mine was picked up tuesday night at 9pm and it's been stuck on "we've got it" ever since. 😒
Mine got the tracking number on Sunday (5 days ago) but still hasn't been physically shipped. It says "estimated delivery next Wednesday", though.
