Morning OzBargain!

We’ve been a bit quiet lately… But for a good reason. We’ve been cooking up the best possible PC deal for you. There’s so much to unpack and everyone wants a TLDR, you’ll have to live with dot points for now! Thanks to your support - we’re super excited to announce the following - all to improve your experience:

  • We’ve moved into a much larger warehouse to meet the OzBargain demand - in a super central location in the heart of Sydney, Bankstown!
  • The new workspace will make it much easier with space to stock more components to keep the engine going with PC deals with a wider variety
  • We’ve hired even more Staff on-site and remotely to fulfil orders even quicker
  • All spare cables, bits and pieces that you may need will now be provided on all orders

On the other hand, unfortunately, the Aussie dollar keeps dipping and is at a low of $0.64 to the US dollar. This means everyone will experience a price pinch and new stock coming in will inevitably cost more due to our weaker dollar. We’ve stocked up all we can for this deal, but for the coming months it will be hard and we will still do everything in our power to keep prices rock bottom low. If you’re in the market for a new gaming PC, I would highly suggest making a decision in the coming weeks before you’ll see prices increase a little.

As always, our prices are unbeatable in the industry with the componentry we use as we operate on the slimmest margins.

You’ll be eligible for a 1% discount on the total cost if you choose to pay by bank transfer, please choose bank transfer in checkout and send us a message. We will send you an updated invoice with the 1% discount. Our margins are seriously razor sharp to give you the best price whilst still staying afloat. The only thing stopping from us hitting rock bottom pricing are payment processor fees. They charge exorbitant amounts. In no way or form we are forcing you to do this, it’s one of the only ways to give you a better price.

You will also receive a free copy of Starfield (valued at $119.95) and Overwatch 2 Invasion ultimate Bundle (valued at $59.95) with each purchase as part of our promotion!

Our reviews and Google Reviews are a testament to our service

Despatch times are still roughly 7-10 business days (we have too many orders from you!)

Once despatched, our delivery times are unbelievably fast as we use premium express couriers nationwide to uphold our service! The following are our estimated delivery time frames with our couriers after despatch:

  • Metro Sydney – Same-day delivery (for business addresses, authority to leave and customers available to take delivery)
  • Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Wollongong, and Newcastle - Same-day delivery (for business addresses, authority to leave and customers available to take delivery)
  • All other non-listed major regional town in NSW - Next business day
  • Metro Melbourne – Next business day
  • Metro Brisbane – Next business day
  • ACT – Next business day
  • Metro Adelaide – 2 business days
  • Tasmania – 3-4 business days
  • Metro Perth – 4-5 business days
  • Northern Territory – 5-7 business days

What makes us different?

  • Guaranteed within one business hour response times for email, phone and live chat support
  • We’re proud to offer a fair and transparent price that our competitors struggle to match with a quality service
  • Usage of only premium high-end components with the absolute best value
  • All necessary drivers and software installed
  • Each PC is quality controlled seriously before despatch, we run checks on all components multiple and stress tests including 3DMark and MemTest86 - your test results will be saved to your desktop for you to view
  • 3 years return to base warranty and lifetime support included on all purchases
  • All PCs shipped are packaged carefully – no internals can move during transit as we use Instapak foam that moulds around parts inside along with fragile stickers and tape all over your box
  • Your PC is built with passion, we don’t take shortcuts and keep all cabling tidy whether you can see them or not

This deal will run for strictly one week until next Sunday, August 27th. Once sold out, we’re out as we’ve exhausted all stock from distributors to combat the falling Aussie dollar

Would really recommend Nebula PC, ordered from them a while ago.
Just a warning though, do your own research and post in forums like bapcsalesaustralia or buildapc with parts list for people to critique as some opinions/suggestions from Lawrence are a bit Iffy - like recommending a 13900 cpu over the 7800x3d for gaming.

This would be a terrible idea in terms of cost/performance and the heating issues - louder fans, more power - all just a disaster waiting to happen!

but in terms of products provided 9/10!!!

    • +4

Ah, that must've been out of context. It really depends on the user, the 13900 is definitely better for productivity haha. It smashes AMD out of the water. But for gaming without a doubt, the 7800X3D is better. Either I made a mistake being really under the pump or misunderstood something, I take full responsibility. Sorry about that!

Other than that, thank you for your kind words!

  • Tempted!

    • Haha, let me know what we can do for you mate!

  • Upvote for the description write up alone 👏

    • Cheers Sapper!

  • @Nebula PC any chance on an ITX or mATX build, similar price range as this?

    • Hey Sten,

ITX is in the works but quite difficult with scarce parts and increased pricing. The case that we’re using is quite small already, super close to mATX size. Have a look at the dimensions and you’d be surprised!

  • Wow an actual good rep from a store? Haven't seen that in a while. Plus a pre decent deal +1 from me

    • :), cheers!

  • Big vouch for Nebula PCs. This offer seems even better than the last. For anyone interested I'd say you should probably upgrade to 1TB SSD, a CPU cooler that isn't the wraith, maybe even the 750W PSU. Everything else should do you well. They're not constantly rated 5 stars for nothing.

  • +2

I finally pulled the trigger last night, the communication was excellent. I've upgraded everything except the Ram though lol. This is my first post but I felt compelled to make an account to comment on this deal 😂

    • Thanks Hodlman!

      Keep it holding :D.

  • Price appears to have gone up $200 when clicking into the site unless I'm missing something

    • You missed the promo code

      • I couldn't see anywhere to put it but I am on my phone. Thanks!

        • At checkout

        • @drewcoaustralia there’s just a small drop-down at the top in checkout where you can put the code in if you’re on a mobile device. It’s a bit hidden I know, it’s a limitation with the platform we use. Sorry about that!

  • +1

+1 for nebula. Purchased from the last deal and upgraded to a 7900xtx and 7800x3d. Im a complete noob and the nebula team held my hand and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Computer arrived within 5 business days aswell.

Highly recommend, wouldnt consider anyone else when building a computer.

  • Just pulled the trigger. Hope they live up to the positive reviews. Upgrade to a wifi mobo, CPU cooling and 2tb (and faster storage. )

    • Cheers mate, won't let you down!

  • +2

AU dollar drop. Get in, NOW!

    • +2

I placed my order based on this after holding out for quite a while. That and buying a PC is such a confusing prospect for someone who's not up to date with all the tech specs. The manufacturers sure don't make it easy with nomenclature.

  • Will this handle Baulder's gate 3 at max settings?

    • no, depends what resolution you're going for, 1080p likely
      1440 doubt it
      4k no way

      • Thanks, what would i need to do in regards to upgrades offered to get better performance

        • +2

probably figure out your budget and what you want.

Do you want to 4k max settings on BG3? that's going into 4090 territory…

Take note that want "max settings" requires an equally good monitor that displays those settings - some 4k monitors can range up to $2.3k..

          A 4090 is around $2600 for a card itself.

So you need to do a lot more research.

This deal will defs not get your BG3 at max settings.

Look on forums like bapcsales australia, buildapc on reddit.

Talk to Lawrence from Nebula PC.

but number 1: Know what your budget is lol

      • +2

BG3 doesn't seem that demanding, my potato gets a locked 30 FPS at high settings (1440p) and that's without upscaling because FSR 1.0 looks rubbish. Would be pretty wack if a 4070 couldn't get a locked 60 or even 120

        • fair enough, maybe i'm wrong
Maybe someone else can add to a performance BG3 performance with a 4070 on 1080,1440,4k.

          • +1

@MustardKetchup: I'm watching the Digital Foundry video right now and it sounds like CPU is the real limiting factor especially later in the game which has more NPCs. So yeah you're actually right, it might be tough to get a solid 120 FPS if you're aiming for that but it seems like you can't do much about it, he's testing with a 12900K in the video! I guess I've got that to look forward to, lol.

    • I'd say on 1080P yes, check out this site - https://howmanyfps.com/. It's awesome to get a ballpark figure in FPS.

    • Yes at 1080p and 1440p I can confirm bg3 will run great at max settings. I've got Nebula's last deal pc (7600X + 4070) and bg3 at ultra settings runs smooth at 1440p averages 120fps.

  • Secured the goods last night. Case, PSU, Wi-Fi, and ADATA 1TB SSD upgrades. Hope the positive reviews are indeed true! :)

  • +1

I picked up last months 7600x w/ 4070 deal, was my first gaming desktop for maybe 8 years. I pretty much only play iracing & ETS2/ATS and it's been absolutely fantastic, no issues whatsoever.

If you're sitting on the fence, the build quality from these guys is A+

    • +1

That's great to hear. I'm excited. This will be my first upgrade in a decade.

  • Ordered a 4080/7800X3D and I'm super excited! Thank you so much guys

  • Can anyone share if there is a cheaper way we are getting ahold of windows or is it best to just pay the asking price by the builders?
Thanks in advance for your help!

    • use a code off an old windows 7 & up pc

      • Thanks for the response, and what about for those who don't have one of those codes lying around? Any advice on how/where to get our hands on one?

        • +1

I am after the same thing… are the ones sold by certain website legit? like $5 bucks for 11pro? Any experience from those sites?

        • well then you'd have to buy one or use it un-activated.

          • @SlightlyDusted: Thanks for the insight @SlightlyDusted. Clearly I and others don't have the insights you do but if you can help that would be appreciated. Are you able to answer @rayraywangy's question? If you're not sure or unable to help that's totally fine.
Or if you do happen to know where or how to buy codes that aren't dodgy or introduce any risk that would be appreciated if you share that.
If you don't know or don't want to share anything helpful feel free to just not respond.

            • @MrFizz: i wouldn't say i have the insights, as stated in a comment up a bit I bought my pc from Nebula last month & i was asking a mate about activating windows and it was him who told me you can use any Windows 7/8/10 product key off the COA sticker. I just happened to have an old computer case lying around that had a 7 Pro sticker & sure enough it activated my new pc.

Regarding the certain website, I actually don't know what website he's talking about but I'm sure (and others might agree with me) that $5 for 11 Pro doesn't sound very legit.

There are other places that are probably more of a grey area & i wouldn't want to mention them in a comment in case they break a rule so DM me.

        • yes please

    • If you want the most legitimate key, get it from the builder.
They're cheaper than getting a legit key yourself.

You can get cheaper keys from suss websites.

Or you can just use Windows unactivated.

    • +1

don't bother with legit keys, pay $5 for a key on one of the many websites that sell them.
if it fails within a year, buy another key.

      I havent had mine fail.

You could buy 24 keys for the price of a genuine windows key…. works the same

      • Thanks for the advice @DASHCAM NOW DUDE and @MustardKetchup!

      • Thanks man! That helped a lot.

  • So I'm thining:
    AMD RYZEN 7 7800X3D
    MSI PRO A620M-E - DDR5
    RAM: ADATA XPG LANCER RGB 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz DDR5
    MSI VENTUS 3x GeForce RTX 4070 OC - 12GB
POWER SUPPLY: InWin 750W 80 Plus Gold
CPU COOLING SYSTEM: DarkFlash Twister DX V2 240mm Liquid Cooler ARGB
PRIMARY SSD: 2TB ADATA XPG GAMMIX S70 Blade Gen4 M.2

With some other stuff that comes around to $2600 with windows installed and a wifi adaptor and the such.

I'm at odds because I see some 4080 deals here and there about that same price point with half the ram and not so great CPU in comparison.
    ie: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/791555

I don't know if a 4080 with some lesser specs is worth what I have above in comparison

I don't really want to spend more than 2.7K and am looking for 2K gaming at high settings that will last me a couple of years. It's been a while since I've had a gaming PC (PS5,xbox as of late) but with Starfield, BG3 and the like it's got me interested again. Plus fathers day is around the corner so it's a gift for myself.

    Opinions?

    • Hey DaBow,

If you're looking for 2k gaming I'd say a 4070 series card is more than enough! No need for a 4080 GPU unless you're getting into the 4k range. The build that you've got listed there is awesome, remember to put in the coupon code in checkout so that the discount applies :).

    • I'm thinking the same upgrades, with a plan to upgrade my monitor and GPU in the future. Monitor first and then GPU later.
Currently have a 34in Ultrawide 1440p 100hz. Will this build be overkill for it until I upgrade?

      • I personally had a 34 inch uwd 174hz monitor with a 4070ti - It would struggle in some games such as cyber punk, fortnite, Rdr2 -this was on high/ultra settings.
yes they are very demanding games.
When i posted online, people mentioned that the amount of pixels in a screen that big is reaching 4k.

        I upgraded.

        • Will this last me another couple years where i can then upgrade the gpu if not playing ultra settings?

1k to jump to 4080 is just a little our if reach, i could always drop to a standard 1440p monitor

          • @gman90: Ofcourse thats an option! just some issues with upgrading the GPU could be that you also may need to upgrade the PSU, and if it doesnt fit in the case - the case which will be unlikely but a possiblity.

This is a good price If you have to stick to a budget. Just lower the settings a little and you'll be fine!!!!

  • Hey @Nebula PC - Stupid question. Starfield and OW is showing as out of stock, is this the case?
    Cheers.

    • Let me fix that, just an inventory error.

      Cheers for letting us know!

      No stupid questions out here.

  • +1

Ordered, look forward to upgrading from my current i5 - 4690 @3.5k cpu and radeon r9 200!!!

    • +1

      Huge upgrade!!

      • +1

lol yep, my hard drive rattles to top it off! So looking forward to it as will make a massive difference to my Daily computer experience. Believe it or not i can actually get Baldur's gate 3 (i know i bought it rather optimistically!)to run on my computer i think its running in Pity mode, doable but not enjoyable.

  • Hi Nebula team, how does the pick up and return warranty work? Do I pay for return costs?

    • +3

We cover the complete cost of transport back to us and back to you. We are that confident in the products and build quality of our systems :).

      • Thanks for clarifying and for responding promptly too, says a lot about your business!

  • any instock for pickup?

    • Hi Fadz,

All PCs are built to order, if you make an order with us we'll try as hard and fast as we can for you to pick up!

  • Complete newbie question - if I just want wifi capability in case internet drops out and want to tether phone data or the like, do I need to change the motherboard to one that says wifi or just add the ASUS PCE-AX3000 on next page for $79?

    • No newbie questions here.

Either or will work. You can opt for the motherboard with Wi-Fi to connect to your phone or use a motherboard that doesn't have onboard Wi-Fi but has a Wi-Fi card to connect to your phone.

  • thx ordered

  • do I have to pay delivery insurance? $21 something like that..

    • Just saw this message, no you don't have to at all. You can deselect on checkout if you'd prefer, it just makes it easier to claim larger amounts with the courier as we can pay the premium with them for the coverage.

  • I'm trying to register my MSI graphic card for the OW2 bundle. It's asking for retailer I bought from but Nebula is not listed in the dropdown menu.

    Edit. "Others", "Nebula PC".

Now it's asking for a Barcode?

    • +1

Yes, we're not listed. Please put others and you can put our name "Nebula PC". As for the barcode, it's just the sticker on the graphics card you'll see that's on the top :).

  • Does the Ryzen 7500F come with starfield? It's not listed as an eligible product on the AMD website. If not this post is misleading… starfield being included influenced my decision to buy this

    • +1

It is an eligible product. It's not listed as the 7500F is not for retail sale. We have this confirmed by AMD, we have contacts and they will provide us with the keys. You will receive your Starfield key.

      • Awesome! Thanks for the quick reply.

        • +1

No problem mate! We're not interested in misleading our customers, it's illegal to falsely advertise and that's the last thing we'd do. Only interested in doing good business and putting you first :).

  • Is the expiry date on this still tomorrow? (sunday)

    • It is, but we are trying to extend it if possible. I’m awaiting word from our suppliers if there’s extra stock we can secure with the same pricing to support this deal.

    • @Jumpingmanjim best thing to do if you want to secure stock is to PM us and we’ll work it out!

  • +2

    Hi Everyone,

For anyone following, due to the popularity of this deal, I've decided to extend it as we've secured more stock through different suppliers for the key components. I'll be able to continue honouring the same price until residual stock is exhausted!

    • Just ordered last night. Great campaign on this deal.

  • Code doesn't seem to be working, I'm receiving an error that it's an invalid promo code.
Also if one was to get a Noctua aftermarket cooler, will the included thermal paste be used during construction?

    • Sorry about that, that’s been fixed. Yes, we use the thermal paste that comes with the cooler according to the model or brand.

  • How do we get starfield?

    • I will email the codes in batches, usually every two weeks.

  • Hey do you ship to NZ?
    Thanks

    • Hey mate,

      I can organise that, yes.

Could you please send us a message and we'll get you sorted :).

  • I just pulled the pin and purchased a system with 7800x3d / 4070 Ti. Can't wait!

    • Cheers Joseph!

  • Insanely good price. Can I come to pick up in person to save $50 on the shipping fees?

    • Absolutely, please choose the pick up option. Our workshop is just in Bankstown!

  • Does anyone here play Rocket League? I am semi looking for gamer but I suspect this is far too advanced for RL? Any experiences?

  • What happened to the CPU water cooler? Can't see it in the options anymore.

    • +1

      Hi John,

It’s still there, just that the base motherboard doesn’t support most AIO’s as it doesn’t have an RGB header. The base case also doesn’t clear the AIO’s due to space restrictions. Please choose a different case and motherboard! 😁

  • +2

Arrived, today. Super fast postage!!! Perfect packing, hardest part was getting the expanded foam bag (used for protection) out of the PC, else easy setup took 10 mins max. Up and running and perfect. Thanks

        Hey Charz,

Did you make an order with us yet? We'll try our absolute best to get it out for you for Father's day haha.

        • Yep, placed on Monday. I Just realised the turn around time is 7-10 days so guess I'll just have to wait!
