[Hack] Fiery Yucatan Fiesta Burrito $3.46 Delivered @ Mad Mex via DoorDash

990
SPICYMM

I was playing around on DoorDash and trying to see what coupons would give the best discount, somehow I ended up ordering a Fiery Yucatan Fiesta Burrito for $3.46 Delivered.

The steps I did were:

  1. went to DoorDash app and go to order from Med Mex.
  2. added Fiery Yucatan Fiesta Burrito to basket.
  3. add another Fiery Yucatan Fiesta Burrito to basket.
  4. go to the basket and added the coupon for buy one get one free Fiery Yucatan Fiesta Burrito.
  5. I did add a couple more items to see if i could combine any other coupons - this proved unsuccessful.
  6. Remove everything from the basket except one Fiery Yucatan Fiesta Burrito.
  7. I looked at the screen and it said one Fiery Yucatan Fiesta Burrito was $3.46 Delivered.
  8. I hit the pay button.
  9. A little while later a Fiery Yucatan Fiesta Burrito turned up at my door.

I thought I’d post on here to see if anyone else can also get it to work. One warning though, this is a spicy burrito! It would not necessarily be my first choice in burritos (i prefer a medium spice) but for $3.46 delivered to my door I thought I’d give it a go.

  • Can confirm it works, just too bad that the delivery fee makes my local Mad Mex not as worth, mine totals to $8.96

    • Still cheap getting some food delivered, most will get cancelled, think about it.. or they could spit in it lol.

Edit: looks like they had a doordash promotion for free for the first 750 orders (from aug 17)

      https://www.madmex.com.au/2023/08/16/its-here-amigos-get-you…

      • Receipt from the last promo showed full price so don’t think the shop know how much we pay.
Hopefully they also include the free burrito code this time around

        • Yeah suppose DD wears the cost

  • confirm it works but they are closed so i scheduled for tomorrow and most likely will be cancelled once ozbargained lol

  • Great find, a scheduled for tomorrow.

  • delivery fee -$14.99, $10.99 for delivery lol. $25+ for delivery?!?

  • $7.57 for me as had to add small corn chip/guacamole for $5 to get over the $20 delivery minimum

  • $10.96 for me, must've done it wrong

  • +2

pro tip, schedule it first thing in the morning when they open before the memo gets passed down to cancel the orders.

    • +3

Or they get the memo to increase the spice :(

  • $5.96 for me.

  • $7.01 by adding $4.50 item to make the minimum $20

  • +1

    It's not spicy!

    • +1

Depends on your tolerance. It's a bit too spicy for me

  • $2.09 delivered, cheers!

$1.97.. just waiting for a fiery breakfast

    • Just arrived !!!

  • Careful this burrito is real spicy, my poor butt the next morning….

  • Is DoorDash going to make me payback $70k for this glitch?

  • Delivery fee is too much to make it a good deal for me :(

  • Thanks, came to $2.96 and scheduled it for tomorrow morning.

  • Works $6.96 for me.. thanks

  • $1.97 :)

  • +2

Actually, no need to add 2. Just add 1 to the card and apply the promotion. It will take off the burrito price. I would say this deal extends to the last deal.

One account charges a delivery fee while the other doesn't. Not too sure.

  • $1.97 too scheduled for noon today hoping it will go through ok

  • i woke up early and saw this and sneaked in a preorder just in time xD
    hopefully they deliver

  • +1

I managed to get one delivered yesterday from the deal the other day for first 750 (did a preorder and got it for $1.97). It was ok, I wouldn't get it again, but others might enjoy it. Very big though and will last me 2 meals. I added extra sour cream to cut down on the heat. Not sure how much chicken was in there. Mainly rice and bit of other things like tomato and lettuce, but not much.

    Order being prepared :)

    delivered.. yumm

  • +1

    Delivered.
$7 for me but worth it.

Big and tasty but not very spicy

    • Bit of hot sauce would help that and jelapenis

  • Thanks OP. Wasn't that hot, but was real yum.

  • Ordered one with guacamole. Did not get the guacamole, but since this was a glitch, feel like I have no grounds to complain.

  • Entered the promo code that I got on the little "liability release waiver" that came with the order, got a free mexicali mince taco. 2 items for $2.09 delivered for me, loving it. Cheers OP!

    • What promo code?

    • +1

But that should be claimed in the Mad Mex app and not the DoorDash?

      • Claimed in mad mex app, Account - Redeem a reward

  • +1

    Darn missed this :(

  • Thanks OP - sadly the burrito is very disappointing, lack of flavour and not spicy

    • Zambreros is probably better or just make your own :P.

    • You must have received a dud. As a long-term spicy food lover, I found the level of heat was just right. Hot enough for me to sweat and takes off my jumper in the middle of winter, but not so hot that I have to drink lots of milk or eat other things to cool down.

      • Yeah i must have, my burrito was one of those that the staff clearly made in a hurry. There was barely any sauce and none of the ingredients were mixed together, just separate from each other

        • I noticed that mine was very low-mid spice level until the last few bites, seemed like a super uneven sauce distribution, the sauce they use actually goes alright heat-wise.

  • Plus barely any meat, very dry, no cheese just full of rice.

    • Mine had about 20-30% meat. It was fairly filling. I had it around noon and did not feel hungry until 9.30 PM.

    • Better if it was vegetarian, beans and rice are great on burritos. Don't need cheese get guacamole (I'm thinking of zambraros).
