I was searching for this digital radio and found it in the Westfield website representing JB Hifi. It is still $106.70 with free shipping. I updated the cart with as many as I could (x99) and it looked like they believe there are quite a few in stock - see my screenshot below;

I also rang a store in Victoria this morning and they confirmed they still had some in stock, but she quoted a price over $250 for it..

          I've been stung $300 buying something using PayPal before. I thought I had full buyer protection but the guy I paid the money to closed his account after getting paid and ran off with the money. PayPal successfully recovered $0.00 from his account when the claim had been decided in my favour…

          If this happened through eBay, PayPal would reimburse the buyer no matter what and chase the money up themselves. If not done through eBay, just hope that they have the funds in their account if they're legitimately dodgy (oxymoron?) and PayPal recover it all.

          It's all in their terms and conditions (which I admittedly didn't read until after I got stung - as would be for most people). FULL buyer protection is only for purchases through eBay (this is because eBay owns PayPal…)

          Ahhh.. I see. Welps, if PayPal fail me then it's on to Plan B - Visa chargeback. I probably shoulda gone down that route in the first place.

          It's okay, you can do chargebacks pretty far down the track. I would only ever use a charge back as a last resort, better off at least trying through PayPal first :)

    OK, I went and had a look at this yesterday cause I need to replace my clock radio. I can't tell if it has an alarm. Can ayone confirm if this has built in alarm?

    Well then this is cheaper than a all the most basic DAB+ clock radios I could find anywhere in Chaddy yesterday. And it has so much more…
    Too bad its too big for my bedside table.
    Maybe with the remote I can find a spot for it on the otherside of the room.

    EDIT: Ordered, price is just too good to pass on.

        Wish I could however TV is mounted on the wall. All I need is to be able to do is set the alarm, see the time and hit the "snooze".

      This'll be pretty amazing, particularly at this price. I paid more than 500 bucks for a Pure radio with remote a few years ago.
      Even prior to Apples 'encouragement' to speaker dock manufacturers to go wireless (new connector on iPhone 5), Pure have been proactive with their iOS and Android apps. This price to retailers is no doubt a pre-emptive clearout of their old gear with all of the new stuff to be solely app controlled.

    The order is showing as processing and the credit card charge came through yesterday, but I have no e-mail from JB.

      Me too, placed order on Monday , but have not received any confirmation from them, paid with PayPal. Hopefully no dramas and ship the item soon.

        Turns out the courier came that morning (we weren't home so there was a card in the letter box.)
        Westfield sent me an e-mail - "An item in your JB Hi-Fi order has shipped." - on Saturday afternoon!

          No news for me either, tried to call JB but their online store is crap , 1300 always pick up by an automatic voice machine and email address doesn't work! no idea and not sure if they will ship it out. bad experience.

          yeah same here, called the number.

          Recorded message says to call back between 9am-9pm Mon-Fri and then hangs-ups.

          This is not looking good.

          Has anyone recieved delievery. No mention of successful delivery yet. McFly said he missed a delivery…so that doesn't count

          forgot to mention that i've called westfield online two days ago, and they said JB has not processed my order , will have to wait until end of the week before they can escalate to JB. Maybe you should give them a call westfield , so they know about JB's poor online service!

          Mine came yesterday, and my sister got hers the day before (Melbourne SE.)
          BTW, I tried to call the JB 1300 number and also got that stupid message, so rang the Chadstone store and they gave me the head office number who then put me through to where the 1300 number was supposed to go.
          I told the guy about the message and he was perplexed and said he'd look into it, but I guess he didn't or they didn't take any action.
          I was actually calling to check on my sister's order which hadn't arrived (at the time) and was told there was some kind of problem with her order and they would call her but it showed up a couple of days later anyway.
          (I don't have the head office number here, I'll see if I still have it at home.)

          Westfield returned my call and couldnt give me a number. I tried to call a store today but jst havent had the time. I sent a query via the "online order" on the contact-us page (as per the instructions in the bounce back email from the original order details)

          McFly: What was the method of shipping. Was it a courier? and who was it?
          If you have a chance to post the HQ number that would be apprciated too. Thanks

          Toll can't tell you anything without the con note no., which you'll need to get from JB.

    Everyone, mine arrived today via Toll Priority. It took longer than expected to arrive but it got here eventually.

    I think they might have been low on stock, mine came from Sunshine VIC 3020.

    Hope everyone that ordered gets theirs :)

    Oh, and the dispatch date was 18/09/2012, so they took a while to send it out. They tried delivering on 19/9 and 20/9 but I wasn't home both times. Got a call from Toll yesterday to find out when to deliver - and they delivered within a 1hr time window - so good service from Toll!

    I recieved an email late Friday 21st, advising that my order was being processed and delived soon. No further details but progress on what I had. So with delivery through Toll I would expect delivery by mid-week at the latest.

    I put in another order and (after quite a wait) was sent one via Toll on Friday. I love it! Looks like it might be luck whether the store that 'takes on' the order has any available or is able to search for one somewhere else. Mine came from Brisbane, to Melbourne.
