  • Why does the description here say 500 hours, when the amazon page says 18 hours?

    • +6

Runtime depends on output. 2h20m on turbo, 18 on medium, 555h on moonlight.

      • moonlight meaning barely any light - might as well switch it off….LOL

I mean if any light were to be set on that of course it will have 555h..ahhahaha might as well be on standby.

        • +3

It's for a nightlight. Not something to read a book by or do your calculus homework when there's a power cut.

          • @beefsandwich: damn it! now i know why my physics formula sheet for the space x are always wrong.

        • +1

I measured about 4 lumens with the Sofirn LT1S in Moon mode. It's not quite sub one lumen.

  • What type of batteries does this take and are they removable?

  • What's the different between LT1S and the Pro version?

    • The Pro has higher quality LEDs and Anduril UI.

    • LT1S has a simple UI and half the LEDs can be toggled on and off. So you can light up one side. The light output seems well regulated

LT1S Pro has the Anduril UI. The ability to turn half the LEDs on has been removed. Light output might drop as the voltage drops.

      Here's a teardown by gchart:

You could update the firmware in the LT1S Pro but you might need to add a programming adapter to a fork handle or something to get it into the end of the battery tube.

The LT1S Pro has bright battery status indicators at the top:

The orange status indicators on the LT1S are less annoying.

  • Thanks OP. Got 1 for reasons 😁

    • Red light is great mood setter

      • Red light special ? 😁

  • Excellent light i have 4 of them, and even on medium settings im charging every 2 weeks they last long time

    • Hi @Wayne7497, can you tell me if the light turns on while plugged in to charge?

      • I've got the LT1S - the light can be turned on while charging.

      • You can run the LT1s on Moon, Low and Medium with a USB-C PD power supply. It cuts out on High and Turbo for white modes, and it cuts out on Turbo for red.

And you can run the LT1s on Moon, Low, Medium and High with a USB-A 5V 2.4A power supply. It cuts out on Turbo.

      • Yes

  • Thanks I’m looking for a dim warm ambient light to go with the TV, this should work. Would be better if it’s less bulky looking but it is a lantern 😛

  • Nope, I don't need more goddamn lights…. the red function would be useful but my headlamp already does that, and the orange funciton my little Hard Korr lights should be fine for in the tent

  • Any green Lantern?

    • In case you're not joking, here is a good quality green lantern. Much better than the ugly plastic Sofirn lantern.

If you were trying to be funny… then "har har… I see what you did there, etc".
