        I was always put off by the Beko video on the appliancesonline product page - the coffee extraction looks more like a weak tea.

      yeah! good enough for me. a well designed machine and the coffee taste fine. I am pretty happy about this one. beside I lost over 200 AUD for the price down.

      Yeah we never use the wand on our old jura ena5 anyway. We just use a standalone frother. Its faster, Easier to clean, and less work for the boiler in the machine.

      Have just bought the red one of these. The jura will be retired/kept for emergencies. its served us well for just over a decade. Still going strong bought secondhand off ebay for $250. But they are complicated devices and wont last forever.

    Is there any adjustment required to get the perfect cup (grind etc) or just tip the beans in the hopper and push button?

      just put the beans and press the button. there is a cup to pull out to collect those pie shaped coffee grounds. I use them to put into my refrigerator to absorb the smell.

    Just get a used Jura from Gumtree.. Best purchase I ever made. Cost like 200-300. Parts are widespread online and they're easy to maintain and repair.

      Yep our $250 ebay jura 5 has lasted over a decade with not a single issue. At least 2 shots a day.

      But i bought this smeg and will keep the jura as a spare. Its very cheap for a branded machine too good to pass up.

      That's what I did. $150 for an old JURA ENA 5, which no doubt makes better coffee then this machine.

      Ooof gotta hard disagree on this one. I LOVE my Ena 9, but that thing is a nightmare to service. Not too bad after the first one if you swap the stupid custom headed screws, but still not exactly easy to get into with the nightmare of clips.

        Nah, Jura are fine to work with. Just need to know which 'clips' are actually slides. Its a pitty the brew group doesnt come out like a Delonghi, other than that, all good..

        Pull apart a Sunbeam machine if you want to know what frustration is..

    Been using this daily for a year. Punches far above its weight for the size. Makes a good clean coffee and easy to use, clean and refill, highly recommend.

    I bought this and use a separate frother, much cleaner this way!
