Be warned that klook customer service is absolutely horrible

    • +1

Klook what a funny name although
"Klook customer service can go Klook itself"

    • +1

I haven't had an issues with the customer service yet.

Had a delay in receiving my JR Pass, and CS were very quick to rectify it.

    • I had to make two cancellations with them last year and they were nothing but helpful. Had zero issues and live chat was quick.

    • Agreed. I booked a ticket and it had the correct dates up until check out. I noticed the dates changed within 30 seconds and reached out to support to see if they could help (there was availabilities on both the days and they were one day apart) and was told to go stuff myself.

Wrote a negative review and they backtracked and refunded me.

    • +2

As much as people say this, I'm sorry it's not true in my case. I had my flight cancelled during my trip due to a typhoon and klook REFUNDED my Disneyland tickets. Disneyland tickets are non refundable. Had I bought them through the Disney website I would have lost that money.

    • Maybe I'm the lucky one but I never had any issues with Klook. The support was well received and helpful, refund is easy too

      • @scythic and for all, i was about an hour late due to a flight delay, when i got to the airport no one, not even the previous from klook wanted to help me. Ended up paying for transport at the airport which was more expensive. When i reached out to support, even with me being persistent that i wanted a refund, they offered me "klook credits" which was equal to the cent of my transfer. They didn't want a bar of me

        • +1

          "… I was about an hour late…"

          Ok

          • @Scythic: I reached out and told them via email and a whatsapp contact, considering I'm paying for the service i think that's pretty fair, on top of being out of my control

  • Wonder this works to get annual passes

    • +1

No need to wonder. Try it and see.

      • +1

        Yep. Definitely no annual pass

  • +1

No 1 day ticket for Disney California via klook, minimum 2 days.. i dont want to spend too many days in the bay area

    • +2

Isn't the bay area in San Fran??

Also I think you will need a minimum of 1 day at each park, so 2 days.

      • Oh yeah i meant not want to spend more days in LA so i can only afford (time and money :)) one day in Disneyland. Not intending to visit the Adventure park one but yeah perhaps 3rd party sites only sell multiple days tickets.

        • Same, also I can't see any booking availability beyond 31 December (though it says open date). I'd love to have an option for 1 day 1 park booking (don't need to visit the other park).

    • No third party sellers have single day tickets.

    • Hi there - either i've done something wrong or it DOES work.

I have a 1 day 1 park Tier 0 (x 4 adult) for Disneyland California and the code has been applied successfully.

Oh, and i went with Genie Plus because, why not, its a good discount!

      • +1

That could be 1park per day as there are 2 disney parks in Cali

        • Just to make sure, in case anyone else was looking for the same; this was for 1 park only, for 1 day.

My kids are not interested in the DCA, just the 'main' DC park, so we're only going the one day.

Worked like a charm and all reserved up.

          Thanks OP!

          • @OnlineOffline: Thats really weird. I dont see any option to choose/book for 1 day only in Klook AU website. The options are:

Coverage: 1 Park per Day / Park Hopper
            Duration (Days): 2 days / 3 / 4 / 5 days
            Access: Genie+ / Regular
            Schedule: Open date

Adult Price for 1Park perday, duration is 2 days, Regular, Open date is (currently) A$453ish

Where did you see only 1 day?
            Mind to share the link?

            • @countmein: Sorry, just saw this now.

I just goto klook.com; i'm in the US at the moment; maybe geography makes a difference to the offer?

I searched disneyland cailfornia and selected it. My options i see are:

              Coverage

              Single Park (1 Day)
              1 Park per Day (Multi-day)
              Park Hopper (1 Day)
              Park Hopper (Multi-Day)
              Duration (Days)

              1 Day
              2 Days
              3 Days
              Access

              Genie+
              Regular
              Schedule

              Tier 0
              Tier 2
              Tier 3
              Tier 4
              Tier 5
              Tier 6
              Any date

              • @OnlineOffline: No worries i've settled with 2 day ticket. I tried to go to klook.com/en-US/ but it didnt make diff, still showing 2 day minimum. Shouldve tried vpn but thats kay i settled. Thanks fyi, would try vpn next time

  • +1

I used Klook on a previous deal and had no issues with getting tickets etc

  • Looks like a good discount for Hobbiton

  • +7

Be mindful that booking directly sometimes may be the better option for your circumstances. For example, teamLabs Planets in Tokyo is only slightly cheaper through Klook (even after the discount), but booking online directly you are able to make changes up to 9am of the day you've booked for.

    • +2

And the direct booking option seems to have more availability (timeslots).

  • +2

Thank you for this post with promo code, Disney tickets were booked and received within 5mins. Great deal.

  • Anything for the gold coast?

    • +1

Are there theme parks in the gold coast? Or just sites with rides where half of them are closed for maintenance when you visit anyway.

  • +2

Can you also use Cashrewards, Klook is at 8%

Worth a try, worst case is it doesnt track.

    • +2

Yeah it’s not an ultra-huge saving on Disneyland. I bought for the 8% gamble. It hasn’t registered immediately, and I would be surprised if klook left the gates open on it. The dice continues to roll.

    • "Use of codes or any non-Cashrewards incentives (offers, links, newsletters, secret prices) will invalidate cashback, unless stated as eligible on this site."

  • Damn, my month for booking still not available for USJ.

  • USJ Japan - amazing place and worth the line ups, just go on a weekday!

    • USJ or Disneyland tokyo?

      • both preferably

      • +1

We did both USJ and DisneySea in Japan. If you must pick one, I'd go for USJ. It's smaller than Disneyland and probably crowdier too but more enjoyable. But expect massive queues (yes even on weekdays). Do your research (I mean thorough research on how to get the best out of your trip). For example, if you don't go at 7.30 AM then ready to be disappointed (yes official opening time is later than that but you'd still see hundreds of people queuing in front of you). Have a proper plan (we had everything planned to the dot, got a paper with all the rides we wanted to do, and executed the plan successfully. If not for the thorough research, the whole trip would have been a miserable failure).

        • Do you think one day is enough for USJ? Looking at the map and queue, it seems we might need more than 1 day? Is there a tip of what to see first to maximise the experience? Thank you

          • +1

@33725: One day is enough if you're thorough with research & planning and then desciplined in executing them. We picked Harry Potter first (that was my kids' dream so), and were able to do it swiftly in just 5 minutes wait (because we were at the park gate at 7.30). As soon as the park gate opened everyone was running (we did too). Just an hour later (around 9 AM) the queue was 1.5 hours..! We saved more than an hour of our favorites ride just by being there early.. During the busy times we did the attractions that are not that demanded (that's why planning is important). Also we kept an eye out of wait times in the app and just jumped in when there's less queues (usually during lunch hour when most people queue around restaurants lol, and at dawn when people begin to leave the park).

            • @npnp: Did you go to Nintendo world? Was that harder to get into since you went to Harry Potter first?

              • +1

@33725: Went to Nintendo just for the sake of going but it was so crowded we lost interest quickly. I believe it's the top area these days but we didn't have issues in getting in as we did the 'time slot booking' earlier on. That's one of few tricks you need to know/remember to do as soon as you're inside the park.

  • cries in booked 2 days ago for Universal Studios Hollywood

  • +2

Can you book now and get the discount then change to a later date? They don’t have the dates I’m looking for :(

  • UPTO 8% cashrewards too.

  • +1

Can't book any further than 3 months in advance for Universal or Disneyland Japan :(

    • +1

2 months for Universal Studios Japan.

  • +1

Klook has increased the price for Tokyo Disneyland. The 10% discount brings the price back to where it should be. Its not even a bargain.

    • Where else can we can Tokyo Disneyland tickets and JR Passes for cheap for a October trip? Thanks.

      • +1

Assuming you have a credit card that doesn't charge conversion fees you can try book Tokyo Disneyland directly

      • Use the 20% promo code - KLKFRENZY20. It is working for Tokyo Disneyland or Sea. Not sure about JR Pass. This is the true 10% discount.

  • Does the code kkfrenzy apply for usj express passes?

Code Works for usj studios passes but I already bought express somewhere else.

    • Where did you buy the USJ express passes from? Was thinking of buying on the day depending on the number of ppl lining up at entry on the morning.

      • +1

Official usj Japanese website, took a day off to navigate their site. If you lined up at early morning you should be fine to getting in before their timed entries at 9am but I am in it for the rides

  • THANKS OP!!!! Saved 20% Whooo Hoooo!!!

  • +1

The price of Tokyo Disneyland has been jacked up more than 10%

  • Thanks, OP! I was looking at Disneyland tickets for our holiday in Dec and couldn’t find cheaper tickets anywhere. Saved us $500, so thanks heaps!

    • How did you save $500 when maximum booking amount is $300 (2x accounts perhaps)?

      • Yes. Two accounts. One on my account and one on my husband's.

  • Unfortunately can't book anything for Dec 2023 for USJ or Disney Tokyo.

    • The website says it's only for bookings 3 months in advance. We are waiting to book for next Jan so probably will even have to wait longer. ( This is for Tokyo Disneyland, I'm not sure about the other ones! )

  • Changing from AUD to Yen gives me the same price as the official Disney site. Does anyone know if Cashrewards still works if payment is in Yen?

    • Did your cashrewards track @5aver?

      • Unfortunately it didn't.

  • Cashrewards down to 6% today. Still a bit

    • Mine didn't track yet (more than 48 hours) and the code is not listed on the CR site, so I would not be expecting to get anything.

  • Does anyone have their booking tracked at Cash Rewards?

    • +1

I've tried twice today with cashrewards at 15% for Disney, but it's always tracking at about 1.4%. Thought this would be under the category "attractions"?

      • Thanks. Not worth going through Cash Rewards then. The Klook Disney Japan is sold out so I guess I’ll wait for another discount opportunity. Fingers cross.

        • +1

I had purchased the Universal Studios tickets too with the Klook discount code, and that didn't track with Cashrewards.

I'm not sure now if I should cancel my ticket or contact Cashrewards to find out why it's being tracked at 1.4%. The Cashrewards Klook offer at the end of 2022 had tracked at 20% for Disney according to an old post

          • @cynical17: Maybe that ClickFrenzy code was not allowed for Cash Rewards?

            • +1

@1bargain: The code was never listed on the cashrewards website. Sometimes you expect it not to track but you hope somehow that it would track as bonus lol
