If it is in fact a price error, ordering 20 is a great way to ensure that they will cancel orders.

Because their own website is $8599 (before discount). was $6599 (before discount) this morning then they fixed this arvo. For some reason their software hasn't update Catch store yet.

See my post below, it was cheaper last night at $6269 and I knew it because I got price watch on Amazon and found out Amazon is price matching Digidirect.
Well, as I said, digidirect own website was $6599 (before discount), so after 5% discount it was $6269.05 from yesterday till today midday before they realized. Yes Amazon price matched them at $6269.05 till sold out last night. So it's not about Amazon was cheaper(they just simply pmed digi). It's about was that a price error from Digidirect originally? $6599 vs $8599.
This is not convincingly a price error, this is not going for $19
If $659 then it's a price error, but $6599, I doubt it is a actual price error.

Last night it was $6269 both Amazon and Digidirect website but I wanted to wait until tomorrow before my credit card statement but Amazon sold out and Digidirect price expired mid day today.

But seriously, I love Canon but with them being first party only with their lenses, I just couldn't afford their system anymore. I shot with them my whole life but now I'm on Sony. They're not perfect, at all, but the lens selection is great and there's good options from their high end cameras, mid-range and low range. If I had a spare 2 grand I would buy the new a6700 right now and not hesitate for a second!
@Sxio: APSC tho, if you HAVE to get APSC Fuji X is just the better system and camera. Just get the Fujicrons and start shooting.

I will say a7iv is amazing and the a7rV is really awesome (but not worth the money right now).

ok guys, the show's over: I tried to buy one and during checkout, once you add your address the payment option automatically sets to 'store credit' with zero value, and completing checkout adds nothing to your order.
My take is as @qzcbmo observes; that someone got into hot water at Digidirect with mixing up the prices between the Z8 and Z9, which is a shame because these are the only Nikon mirrorless with decent low light AF (I was upgrading from Z7 / D4)
Guess I'm gonna keep saving up.

You know you're on OzBargain when a $6600 item is considered a steal and sold out within hours. So much for "people are doing it tough".
It's not about how much it costs but how much you save. I regret not buying a house for 1.4 million dollars a few months ago cause its market price at the time was at least 2.5 million dollars (now probably close to 2.8 million dollars). It was a rare occasion when people didn't show much interest for that particular property.
I wish my home loan had been fixed longer 2 years ago. Now I'm paying extra equivalent to half of Nikon Z9 per month.
