Unknown brand but seems worth a dabble at the price for a 4K monitor with USB-C compatibility. Lowest price ever according to PriceMe ($299).

3 years warranty advertised as well.

Seems like they are clearing out old stock?

An in-house brand from the importer/distributor Quantum Sphere, who have been an excellent company to deal with on a professional basis.

There's a new model (QCAM27FHQS.UHD) that'll take over from this one. Pretty sure they use AUO QLED panels from Taiwan, just like a fair number of Samsung's monitors.

At this price, it's pretty damned tempting.

  • Anyone know how good these monitors are? Never heard of the brand before.

  • Review on mwave says unable to use as a second monitor/works poorly with win 10? Seems odd

My money would be the win10 machine in that case having a faulty USBC port or not properly configured for USB video out. laptops with GPUs especially can be weird about how they will output to USBC

    • from the review: "Surprisingly poor connection with Windows 10. PC did not identify monitor easily, nor does it operate as a second monitor, only duplicates first monitor."

Definity cable issue if its poor connection and not knowing how to set the display to extend instead of duplicate.

      I think that’s acceptable for $299?

It's fine for the price, brand new… I was just providing information that I myself was looking for, that was absent from the post

  • Is the USB-C port only for power delivery to the laptop, or can it also accept video from the laptop at the same time?

    • +1

Both, just got mine delivered today and can confirm.

      • awesome thanks, other than that do you recommend this monitor? I'll be using it primarily with a Macbook Pro

thus far, it’s been great at the price. had no trouble connecting to my win10 pc and my macbook

  • OP can you confirm which cables it came with?
The webpage lists just a DisplayPort Cable and power cable - is it a normal IEC C13 power cable?

    • yep, and a usb c cable too.

  • Anyone run dual 27” screens side by side? Too big? Or just right for you

    • I am running triple 27" screens side by side. I love it, but I'm definitely not a regular user
