Fake/Disposable Credit Cards for Free Trials?

Want a trial to Shutterstock but I know from experience they are a dodgy service so want to use a fake/disposable card. Kind of out of the loop, where can I get such card numbers? I’m guessing prepaid visa cards you can buy at Coles won’t work for trials…

I've used the coles prepaid mastercard for some trials before. Usually works.. Just make sure u have at least $1 on it bcos some of them have pre authorisation as a check (which is refunded)

    Revolut.

they've stopped allowing the disposable cards to be used for subscriptions that renew now - can only be used for once off payments.

      • Oh really? But I don't plan on letting it renew. So they prevent it from being added in the first place?

        • Revolut rejected one of my subscription renewals for that very same reason. Haven't tried again since.

    https://www.vccgenerator.org

Credit card numbers can be generated online easily, so as long as the site accepts the card is vaild (and doesn't try to charge a test amount like $1) then any will work fine.

  • I wait till a visa/mastercard gift card deal come up then spend most of it & leave a buck or 2 on each one to use as free trial fodder. Just write on each card in marker what it has been used for as you use em.

    +1 for Revolut

They offer 'Single Use Cards' which are Virtual Cards, as soon as the 'Card Verification' occurs then it renders the card null and void so it cannot be ran again. If for some reason they don't do a card verification then you just terminate the card straight away.

To my knowledge there are no limits to how many you can do but you can only have 1 active at any given time.

    • Are 'single use cards' included in the free/standard plan?

What if I spin up one of the "unlimited" cards, use it for the trial, then delete the card?

        • +1

I reckon the best way is to use the unlimited card and then set a $1 limit.

There are referral system as well

Which pays nothing to the referred, unless OP knows a referrer willing to split the $100 reward beforehand.

      • mine currently 50 reward oooff

        • $110 for me 🤷🏻‍♂️

  • Revolut or Zip One time Disposable cards. Best option

    • Wow, I didn't know Zip even offered this. I need to keep up with all the BNPLs I think.

      • Zip does absolutely, and it can be used generally everywhere Visa is accepted (without 3D verification, a lot of 3D verification would fail).

Revolut can give you option of
        One time disposable,
        or
Virtual Non One time Disposable card too.

But ofcourse needs prepaid credit (like a debit card). But Zip is like Credit. Depending on your situation you might find one better over other. But both are good

        • Apparently Revolut won't let you use the disposable one time card for subscriptions. I might need to test which one will actually work.

          • @AustriaBargain: Revolut does, (just not the one time disposable ones, you gotta use the other normal virtual cards). then destroy then manually once done.

            • @USER DC: I tried with the virtual card. Shutterstock charges $1 to it then immediately reverses it, and on the Shutterstock signup page it says "Sorry, we are unable to process your card. Please contact us for further assistance".

              • @AustriaBargain: tried the ZIP card?
I used the ZIP card yesterday for a $1 trial that renews, which usually fails in Revolut.
