JR Pass Price on Klook - Buy Now or Wait a Bit Longer?

I'm looking to buy a couple of 7-day Ordinary Class (ie. Second Class) JR Passes on Klook prior to the JR Pass Price increase on 1st October. I'm wondering whether I should buy now or wait a bit longer.

At this very moment, Klook have these listed as costing AUD 358.40 AUD316.19.

A few questions:

  • Does this mean they're currently discounted on Klook? Or are they always listed like this (ie. is this the standard Klook price)?
  • This is a long shot, but does anyone have any insight as to whether they'll be discounted any further on Klook before the price increase?

So, long story short: buy now, or wait a bit longer (but obviously before 1st Oct)?

    I’m in the same boat but I don’t see the harm in holding off until 28th Sept (the last day to secure the price I believe) in hope there is a sale later in the month. Not that there is much incentive to have a sale.
    Tbh I think that is their usual price as well

      Yes. So I could buy them today, but I don’t know whether or not to wait longer in anticipation of further discounts.

      Or if the current price is indeed already discounted.

    JR passes rarely sell for a discount.- and if they are discounted then a 5 or 10% discount is usually the max.

    as rock-bottom says - get them now with the 15% cashrewards.

    this is the best deal you will find.

      Agree with this. 5% is likely best discount you will achieve besides Cashrewards.

      I don't think their profit margin on them is particularly good.

      Green car is worth the extra IMO .

          If it's the Move Saver | Japan, appears to be available only for customers outside of Japan, South Korea, the Philippines and Australia
