The tent floor's water pressure pressure is kinda low tho. I've got a Mont tent that's rated at 10,000mm.
The hydrostatic head mm rating on tents is a bit misleading. The floor of your Mont tent might be technically "more" waterproof, but are you ever going to be using your tent under 10m of water pressure? It also only rates the fabric, not the seams/seam sealing, construction, arrangement of the fly covering the mesh sides etc. 3000mm is more than enough for practical purposes. (If you're in a situation where it would actually make a difference i.e. camping in a massive puddle, maybe look at picking a better spot for your tent)
Like the max speed on a car's odometer - yes your 2001 Corolla can go up to 200km/h, but using it to compare which compact economy car to buy is kind of irrelevant.

MSR makes nice stuff, but even at these prices its expensive for what it is. Australian companies like Oneplanet and Wilderness Equipment make similar for similar money. If you want something lighter for the similar money and functionality there are lots of options, www.tarptent.com is a good one.
Saw 'Elixir' and 'Tent' on the title and mind went straight to Final Fantasy merch… bit disappointed that it's an actual tent haha
