With DDR5 declining heavily I was really hoping these boards would too. What a shame.

Crazy $269 is a budget board now.

    But what about a $154 B650m mobo

    • Different form factor

      • both are mATX?

        • Oh didn’t even realise this one is mATX too, assumed ATX given price

    • It's a good board, especially for the price point. The Riptide is definitely the better board but it's inclusions - Wifi, better power, etc - might not be necessary so a savvy buyer could put the money they would have spent on a more expensive MB toward a better CPU or GPU.

yes indeed, the features are not necessary for everyone and this 100 buck can be used in a better gpu, yielding much better performance

Half decent deal. Though, seen much better deals in recent weeks/months. I personally picked up a B650 MSI Carbon wifi for $268 from Umart just to store in the cupboard. Also were a couple Gigabyte Aorus boards b650m for $199 delivered at mwave all tested to run 7950x comfortably, If you need anywhere near this level of performance. I find my 1600af from ages-old still sufficient for everything but also have a 5600g on hand if I don't want to use a dgpu and of course who doesn't have a spare 2500k system that still games like a boss ;) etc.
