    What is the normal price?

    • +1

Actually you can see from the way back machine it was $9.80 in 2020, $10.58 last year and now. Thanks Dr Lowe I guess. I assume this is the new normal.

      $10.58

  • +1

How does this compare to the bigger brands like seasol

    • +3

      Funny you should ask..

I was reading the back of it vs seasol, it seems to have a different concentration of seaweed.. even though it seems to also be made by seasol.. and is likely just a less concentrated version of seasol.

At this price its probably worth it. At $10.58, not so much.

      • What made you think that it's probably made by Seasol?

        • The address listed on the back of the product is practically where the seasol manufacturing plant is, but its kind of out the back..

        • Most garden basics liquids are. If you check the safety data sheet linked to on the bunnings listing it says it's issued by seasol. Same for thegarden basics buffalo lawn food - if I recall correctly it even says on that one it's also sold as powerfeed

    • Less than 1/3 of the price.

  • Does it work? Its this supposed to mimic near ocean nutrients or something for land plants? Whats the connect

    • +1

      The reviews are pretty good.

    • +1

It's just that seasol (made from seaweed) has most of the nutrients that a plant needs in an organic form. Its similar to the carp extracts people use. Generally you can burn plants if you over fertilize. That is very unlikely with seasol. Infact when transplanting, giving your plant some seasol can help reduce stress

the nutrients that a plant needs in an organic form

So what you're saying is that it's Brawndo?

  • +1

Get Plant Doctor brand. Much better then Seosol or This.

    • +4

      much,much more expensive,though

      • It's much more concentrated, so you use way less. Cheaper per SQM.

    • I dont trust Plant Doctor stuff.

I tried their soil wetter and it did nothing.

If the quality of their 'Seasol' is anything like their soil wetter, give it a miss and stick with known brands like Seasol.

      • Don't think you used it properly mate.

  • +3

This is made from china imported seaweed. Don't support CCP buy local.

    • Did you see Cee wee’d? No but I see Cee pee’d.

  • Does this help with my Buffalo grass which is clearly dying?

    • +2

Buffalo goes dormant and brown over winter. Yes this will help get ready for spring though.

  • Was in there today comparing them to the brand favourites, ingredients seem the same, any expert opinions?

  • Seaweed/ bucket/ water… 4 weeks…peg on nose ..pour.

  • For landscaping in spring stock-up with this 'Garden Basics 2L Seaweed Liquid Fertiliser Concentrate'
    2 liter juice.
