I was just scrolling through Ryobi on Bunnings website and noticed that the price has just dropped on this speaker from $149 down to $99. Pretty good saving if you are in the market for one.

I don't have one so can't comment as to how it sounds but feedback on Bunnings is all positive, the only one star review is quote 'Great sound, quite like it. Very good distance as well.' ..

    Sure, but this is $99 and I have several Ryobi batteries sitting around, vs $200+ for a Boom/Megaboom.

    Reviews indicate the 17hr rating is conservative.

      I bought an Anker Soundcore 3 for around $65(iirc) and it boasts a 24 hr battery (haven't tested myself though). Sound quality is pretty great after a little bit of EQ in their app.
