      $4…

      • -1

        I'm sorry?

        • +4

They are letting you know that you only missed out on $4 in flybuys points.

  • +2

No free returns through catch. Pay your own postage. Don't be fooled

    • What happens if you just dump it in a postbox?

      • You need RMA first

        • Okay then what

          • @DingoBlue: They will ask for tracking number if lost in post

            • @easternculture: Okay I’m referring to the policy that AusPost will still deliver the item (with a note to make payment that is rarely enforced).

              • @DingoBlue: They rarely do that. Postman is usually Lazy AF, wants to finish and go home, not chase people for $2.
Reciever will have to pay though, just dont put a return address

Still not remotely worth it for me. The 5x Flybys requires you to shop in store - ie. Flybuys will not offset the cost if you want delivery and if you don't want delivery then the point of Onepass is? Remembering Bunnings already give change of mind, and unlike Amazon Prime; "Bought a product online? For 365 day change of mind returns, you need to return purchases in-store to the brand you purchased from". I'd expect half of Bunnings stock would be classed as big and bulky. If Wesfarmers had kept Coles then they would have been able to compete better.

    • big and bulky items are not eligible for free shipping

  • Added 365 day change of mind returns (Kmart, Target, Catch, Officeworks).

So I can buy an iPhone 15 next month, return it next year and get an iphone 16?

    • -4

      Yep.

Just keep all packaging intact, front and back plastic etc.

Apply screen protector, lens protector and full case like otterbox defender from new.

Remove security stickers using hair dryer.

On return, apply all packaging back as bought.

      Reseal security stickers with hairdryer.

      Upgrade to new iphone.

      • +4

will check back in a year and see how you went with that one lol

        • +1

Just a month waiting for the iPhone 15.

      Replied to another thread

"OnePass 365 day returns also excludes technology products and perishable goods."

From here https://www.officeworks.com.au/information/policies/onepass near the bottom of the page

1 year change of mind returns for tech would be too good to be true anyway even still sealed with the rate technology gets superseded.

Australia wide delivery? That's BS**. They cut my postcode out and made me ineligible for free deliveries. It's definitely a false advertisement.

    • -1

      Indeed. Deal upvote revoked.

    • Mental image of Lionel hutz drawing a comma after wide and question mark after delivery

    • Which postcode?

  • +4

I think it's still much better to use Powerpass over Flybuys card at Bunnings (you can only choose 1)

    • Yeah I think it would be 5% off (Powerpass) for most items vs 2.5% off (Flybuys)

    • +1

Buy your Ryobi stuff with Flybuys, no Powerpass discount on them

    • I might be wrong here but my understanding from tradie mates is that Powerpass invalidates the 12 month statutory warranty as it is deemed purchased for trade purposes, not residential. Apparently plenty of cases where returns aren't honoured for items purchased on Powerpass based on their discretion, in particular items that are specifically labelled as not for commercial use. Happy to be corrected if this is not the case.

  • Bunnings has a weight limit on "Free Delivery".

Looks good on paper but in reality Amazon prime still better. Too many exclusions

  • I don't want to be that guy, but shouldn't the title start with [Onepass] to indicate that this deal is only available to certain people, or say $40pa?
    Leading with $0 seems deceptive??

    • +1

Good idea, thanks. My title had maximum characters but I can do that and remove the onepass at the end.

  • opposite direction to Woolies Rewards cutting back. Nice

  • Just ordered a $3 item to see how fast bunnings delivers

    • and, you ever get it?

      • Ordered heaps of items from bunnings and got it

  • I've had OnePass maybe over a year now and thought everything was set up properly.
Turns out you have to ensure you go in an make sure you physically press "LINK" to all the different stores and "LINK" flybuys (even though I swear I did this in the past).
I bought a $1500 item on Sunday and I think this offer commenced Mon/Tues.
Just FYI I called OnePass customer service and they aren't willing to honour anything if you haven't linked your flybuys in time for your purchase.
Bummer missing out on 1500 x 5 points arghhh

Ordered something from Bunnings last night and it arrived this afternoon!

    • Same with me, surprised to be honest, thought it would take 5-7 days like kmart

  • Does anybody know what Bunnings' minimum spend is now for free delivery? I couldn't find it anywhere.

    • +2

Don’t think there is , I ordered a $3 item and it was free delivery

      • Thanks for the info. I sent a form inquiry to Bunnings yesterday from their website and am waiting to hear back.

        • There’s no minimum order anymore with the recent change it seems, but there are size/weight limits

          • @akura: Thanks! I haven't heard back from Bunnings yet. 👍

  • I've never used Onepass before, and am at the listed places a lot - can someone ELI5 as to what I need to do to getthe flybuys points?

    • +2

Log into OnePass (assuming you have paid for it). Make sure all the required brands have a tick in the corner of each brand box, under where it says "Supercharge your shop. Get more from your favourite brands." To do that you need to click through and login to each brand.

Scroll further down past the Disney ad on OnePASS. Under My Benefits*, first box says Free delivery on eligible items or orders… then the next box under that you want to have your FlyBuys linked. It will have a green tick and show how many FlyBuys points you have if it is all done correctly.

      • Great, so I have all that.

And I just need to scan my flybuys when I buy anything, pay as normal?

  • So if you can only get 5 x flybuy points if you scan your card in store. That really means you can't really combine free delivery + 5x flybuys points

  • 5x Flybuys Points in-Store

    WHAT ABOUT ONLINE PURCHASES?

  • I didn’t receive 5x points with my recent Officeworks iPhone purchase. Had linked my flybuys the night before.

    • Did you scan the Flybuys barcode or the OnePass one?

  • This is very good value on paper, especially if you shop regularly at these brands, but I think they are still ironing out the edges. The 5x FB points are a hit or miss for me (I have everything set up and linked properly), and after the first four or five customer service calls to get the points they owed me, I gave up on it as a bad job. The 365 day return is an interesting proposition, I'm keen to see how individual stores / brands react to that, and plug in their own T&Cs.

  • +3

This has been a blessing and a curse for me. Now I can order stuff from Bunnings, it often arrives the next day, and with it goes my excuse for putting off household repairs

  • I found out recently at target at over 60 days return (before 365 days) your refund is only via return gift card to the original value.

  • I was trying to make a purchase using my OnePass account through Catch this morning but there was a delivery fee!

It must have been overweight but there was no mention of it?

    • Sold by a third party store? I think OnePass only gives free delivery to items sold by Catch.

      • No idea but I abandoned the order

  • The last time I processed a change-of-mind return with Catch as a OnePass user I had to pay for return shipping and was only offered store credit upon return.

  • No price in title…?

  • What the hell happened to Ozbargain? The top spot is taken by changes to a long-running loyalty program with all sorts of hassle setting it up per store, and requiring a $2k/year spend to break even, and some people are raving about how good it is??? Seriously? How does this qualify as a bargain?
