    • Is this the light you're looking for?

    • name doesn't check out

      Ok here I go.

The cost of the transformer is significantly more than the light itself.

It's like a Mazda dealership selling you a car for $100. The $100 gets you the steering wheel, you just need to buy the rest of it.

No different to buying an ordinary light bulb, you still need a house, a socket and electricity to use it.

I've got a couple of unused smaller transformers lying around from previous 'bundle' deals where all I needed was the lights to go on my larger transformer. I don't see why this is a reason to neg the deal… Seems like a decent deal for a pond light. If I needed one for underwater I'd probably buy it.

  • Nice, thanks for sharing this OP

  • Are there any affordable all in one solutions? Only need 1 light

    • Probably better to have the 12V transformer for lights under water. You can probably get 240VAC underwater lights, but I'd prefer to not have the risk of it failing and tripping the RCD constantly.
