Man that is a nice shade of blue

Out of curiosity, why one will buy this when you can give smart watches ?

    • +2

Why wear a watch at all when you have a mobile phone?

    • Smart watches neen to be charged everyday, these solars are ready to go when I walk out the door. All my solars are near my front door by the window. You don't get the functions of a smart watch but what are you doing anyway? Checking notifications? Hardcore fitness people will have Garmins and shit

Why drive a manual car when you can drive an automatic or use cruise control?

why drink cow milk when you can have soy milk?

Try swimming much less diving with a smart watch. Or wear on formal events. Or keep for more than 10 years.

In the off chance that this isn't a troll question then:
      - looks
      - reliability (no need to charge each night)
      - waterproof rating to 200m (I use this for spearfishing so I meet up in the right time)
      - nostalgia
      - why not?

I bought the same watch approx 1 year ago around similar price.
I like it, bit big for my skinny wrist but comes fine.

if it was more blue it would be perfect

I got this one about a year ago but sent it back as the second hand doesn't hit the markers properly (so be warned - may not bother some people).

PS they get cheaper than this deal, was $229 (209 with voucher). I'd recommend the JDM model (black one).

second hand doesn't hit the markers

At least you knew it was a genuine Seiko haha.

If you don't have vouchers, Sheils have a 10% off code CLEAR10

Which of course I discovered the day after they jacked the price of a watch I was after by $200, and the code would have made it the cheapest around.

Edit: why is this marked as expired? The titled watches are still there at the posted price.

Also: Seiko Eucalyptus SRPJ53K at $599, not the cheapest it has ever been at $549 but cheapest right now if you didn't want to wait and see if SB puts it in a weekend sale.

that's mb I thought this was part of the 2-day online shopping thing

I might get the Eucaplytus if it drops below $500, to go with the Noosa. There should be a Samurai as well, but Seiko seem to have dumped that line

      • I'm the opposite, I'll start getting interested in the Noosa if starts dipping under $700. It's getting close, not quite there yet.

        • I got my hulk for about 600, which is the second cheapest Sumo I have. The Noosa is actually good (6R, Sapphire etc). The Eucapytus is just a reg turtle

  • Tuna diver street series? What's going on?
