It'd be interesting to see how much sales dropped for all AV vendors once MSE became available.

Even before MSE became available, there were good free anti-virus like Avast, AVG, etc

We use Avira free on the laptop and AVG free on the PC. They both do the job.
I suppose people who use pirated operating systems would be unwilling to let Microsoft have too much access to their machines and would give MSE a big miss, just incase. : )
