Yah not worth it IMHO especially from green man gaming.. I'll wait for it to get a little lower…

    • whats wrong with green man gaming?

      • +3

Nothing. It's the fact you don't get a steam code.

  • +1

    What's standard V Ultimate?

    • +3

      Also like to know.

I should just stop wasting my time and get Starfield or BG3 already

      • +2

"The Red Dead Redemption 2: Ultimate Edition delivers all of the Story Mode content from the Special Edition plus additional content for online including Bonus Outfits for your online Character, Rank Bonuses, Black Chestnut Thoroughbred and free access to the Survivor Camp Theme."

So basically adds nothing to the game……

      • Starfield was really disappointing. It’s an exact copy of Fallout 4 with the same NPCs, shallow quests, ridiculous inventory and completely flat logic/story. I love Fallout, spent many hours in F4 and F76 but here they seems took away the only thing that was cool there - unique universe and exploration aspect. Starfield is empty, ‘flat’ and non-engaging at all.

And yeah, no space flights like NoMansSky, loading screens/animations all the time baby.

        • +1

How many hours into the game are you?

        • Thanks for the heads up, I hated fallout 4, it felt like a shadow of 3 and new vegas.

          • @AEKaBeer: I was one of those ones who enjoyed FO4, equally if not more so than 3 or NV, was just an overall less clunky experience imo

What about FO4 did you not enjoy?

  • RDR 1 on Switch for ~$60 whaaat
RDR 2 on PC for $26

    Is RDR 2 better?

    • +2

      Miles better

      • 110% agreed. I will actually say that RDR2 is light years better, if you have a capable PC, it will be an experience of a lifetime game.

  • +17

Why the hate? I know they stopped updating online but the base game is one of the best games released in this last decade and an absolute steal if you haven’t played it before.

    • +2

Only recently started playing this game and yeh it’s pretty awesome. Find a few gold bars , sell them to your fence and bling your guns ,ride and look.
      Got me hooked.

    • +9

Have to agree. It's the best game I've ever played. I remember it fondly. This is a bargain. I honestly can't think of a better way to spend $30.

    • +4

This game is a masterpiece. Easily in top10 games of this decade. And it’s huuuuuge! So much to do, it’s unbelievable.

  • +3

Up for the best game ever!!!!

    FCK Diablo 4

  • +1

Fell asleep within the first few hours of this game so not for me. Love the GTA series though

    • +2

Same. Got up to the outskirts of the city camp after the intro. Not sure if it gets any better after that. I stopped playing there as it was getting so slow and boring.

      • +6

It gets better and better. Keep going.

        • +1

Yeah, first part in the snow is a slog and was going to give up …stuck with it and gets so much better. One if those games even when finished you dont uninstall and can spend some time just going into town and causing chaos.

        • Hah, first time I gave up once the gang arrived at Valentine, then followed a 2 year gap before I picked up the same save and finished the game. It is a slow start that really snowballs in the mid game. An amazing story and experience.

  • The story is great, online is good too, until a hacker joins the game and explodes everyone, which was often the last time I played.

  • +6

I recently finished the campaign for the first time ever, I genuinely think this is one of the greatest games of all time. That being said it is not for everybody and does have a slower pace. But I just fell in love with it once it got going.

  • +1

Thanks OP, bought rdr2 for steam deck

  • RDR1 was boring for me & I didn't even finish it. I got sick of travelling to the same places. Is RDR2 better?

    • +3

Same Rockstar games GTA game formula at it's core, but RDR2 is so much more as well

Highly recommend you give it a go! The start is a bit slow, which seems to be one of the main gripes of the game, I personally found it fine but it does pickup soon after.

  • seriously this game has ruined every game since I've played it. GOAT

I've played and completed mad max, the withcher, fallout 3/4, days gone and none even come close :(

the world just seemed so expansive and alive.

    • The interactions with NPCs is just really impressive and what sets it apart imo, adds a whole another dimension to gameplay. Makes it fun and rewarding to just walk around and interact with the game world.

  • -1

    Best game ever.

  • Is this game any good? Thinking of playing it
