AEG BS12C Cordless Drill $90.12 Was $199 Bunnings

121

I work at a Bunnings Trade and spotted this little beauty. 12v Li-on Battery and an awesome portable size. Possibly sold out most stores, being a trade centre it may have slipped under the radar. Please dont get upset if your local Bunnings doesnt have any, but you could always try your luck. This was spotted at Bunnings Trade Mackay QLD.

I had two of these, total crap. First one had a DOA battery, second one after four months both batteries would only hold around 30% of their charge. The equivalent Makita from Bunnings is still going strong 18 months on and has much more torque. Do not buy.

  • I got one at Bunnings Helensvale, it was on clearance for $99 Ive only had it for 1 month but I love it. I was thinking of posting as a deal but was to lasy.

    • lol..

AEG are now made in China and are crap. They used to be made in Germany, but not any more. They currently have a big radio advertising campaign on, but do not be fooled. Spending money on advertising doesn't mean you have a good product. Ever seen a Snap On ad on tv, or heard one on the radio? How about Festool? Or Metabo? Or Hitachi? They don't advertise, they let the tools speak for themselves. Forget this overpriced junk. Get a proper tool, don't be a proper tool.

    • Yep, I'm friends with the manager of the tool section in Bunnings and he told me the same, AEG used to be a very good mid range drill. Its now crap. Better buying a Ryobi.

  • Bought this in January for $199. Got my decks done with it. But both batteries went dead sometime later. Got new ones on warranty. But not really worth the hassle.
