  • When do you have to activate these by?

  • I've exceeded my data plan with Amaysim and they want $10 per gigabyte for more data. I have three months of unlimited calls/text left. Is there a way I can recharge my data without paying $10 per gigabit and keep my unlimited calls/texts? Thanks!

    • Well, no other than what you noted. Cheaper to just buy a new 365 days with 60GB. Same with Boost mobile on 365 day plans.
If you are using more than 60GB, then best go for a different plan.

      • To confirm Borg, as per your recommendation, if I bought a new 365-day/60gb plan, would I have 12-months or 15 months (12+3) of access?

        • No….you would have to start afresh and lose remaining 3 months. As you noted, if you use up your Data, the only other option is to top up @ $10 per gig. If you have dual SIM, one could grab a cheapie Boost SIM each month and use it for Data.

    • How come someone can go over data? It is fixed we get xx in a month/year, right? Go over and pay is very dangerous this plan should not even exist

      • I think Bob meant he has used up all his data. Not an issue if you have a dual sim phone, just grab a Boost 28 day sim deal & activate on a new number.

      • Hi ChiMot, WatchNerd is correct in that I've used up all my data. I'm trying not to loose the 3 months of calls/sms if I can help it.

        • Turn off data on that SIM so it can only be used for calls and SMS. If your phone supports dual SIM, then get another SIM.

          • @Trishool: Thanks for your advice in this and my earlier comment. I'll use the CatchConnect deal with the dual-sim option.

  • If I buy this pack in store, anyone knows how long we have before we have to activate it?

As mentioned above, the SIM pack says "Activate SIM within 12 months of purchase."

      • My SIM pack doesn’t note anything, inside or out.

  • Not seeing this at my metro. They only have up to $50 packs. Need to head to a suburban one.

    • No International calls and is Vodafone network…….for what its worth.

  • I ended up buying two of these for my kids smart watches yesterday only to be told by amaysim when I got home that they're incompatible with watches. They told me to return them to woolies with my receipt for a refund. Got there and was told they don't refund Sim cards. Now I'm stuck with $200 worth of Sim cards I can't use. Anyone have ideas on where I can go with this? So disappointed.

Meljade00, just stick it up here or on gumtree at a loss, not worth the time to think about it too hard.Unfortunate but sometimes you lose in a transaction. At $70 or $75 each they should go quickly, then never think about it again

      • Thanks - I think that's a good idea. Woolworths have just told me they'd contact me in the next few days if there's anything they can do to assist. But if they don't ill post it on here and see how I go.

Truphone is the only one that works for Apple Watch (not sure Android)
Otherwise postpaid plan + watch fee

      • Thanks. We're using Spacetalks.

        • I’m using amaysim 1-year SIM plan on my kid’s spacetalk. Did Amaysim say why it’s incompatible?

  • Does anyone know if the data is charged per KB.

    • A simple Google results with
      Your answer lays there :-)

To measure your data usage,we use kilobyte (KB) rounding - this means we'll round up the amount of data you’ve used in a session to the nearest 1KB

  • I used my 10% wollies sim-card-attached discount from another wollies SIM card we have in the family and got this for $89.90 with that discount.

  • Is it old plan package? I bought the same one few months ago but didn't have international call included.

    • There are different packages and most without International. This is a Woolies unique Sim and being around for a while.
The Data inclusions on this only comes with 60GB, my guess yours has more?
