crazy how an air-cooled shoe can look so uncool

    • +2

They are new but already look like they have been worn by a person who takes their sheos off before they enter the house without untying the shoelaces and leaves their sheos outside in the weather.

      • +3

        how oddly specific lol

Its the shoe of anyone married to a Chinese wife.

Price in title please, also the store name is usually at the end of the title after the price.

  • I think it is $39.99

  • well, this is not cool

Ok for short trips to the supermarket etc but not for exercise. You will be visitng your podiatrist or physio.

    • They're talking about slip ons, where as these look like lace ups.

      • Its the whole range. Ask your local physio, podiatrist, chiro. They will tell you the same

      • I have a couple pairs of these, they're definitely designed to be slip on, in my experience the laces are pretty much cosmetic.

Not even for short trips. Skechers are not good for your foot. No support, with squishy soles. Spouse is visiting a podiatrist for foot issues and the first thing the podiatrist asked was to stop using Skechers.

Funny my podiatrist told me to stop walking around in bare feet & thongs. Suggested skechers for comfort.

        • +5

Probably because the podiatrist wants you to keep coming back as you will get foot problems lol

@Sammyboy: Lol yep that's what I'm now thinking.

          • @Sammyboy: Spouse visited podiatrist after having problems. I've no foot issues, but my Skechers always gave me foot pains, which no other shoe does to me. As a reference, I walk for hours every week, which includes 3~4 hours of bush tracks on weekends and an hour of running during the week. I used different shoes for different purposes. I had the same observation for my 12-year-old, who never likes to wear her "cool" Skechers, which she happily made me purchase. Whenever she wears Skechers, she says, "I'm tired; can we stop walking?". Lastly, the store we visited to get shoes for the spouse had a rep who helped us. He mentioned he is studying to be a podiatrist, and brands like Skechers keep them in business. Anyway everyone to their own.

      • Go with nature. Barefoot. Stop paying this bullshit podiatrist. They will sell you a ton of useless shit.

Barefoot and thongs is how it's done mate, dailymail UK podiatrist is un-Australian. Zero fks given. xD

    • They wear out so quickly and even though they seem like it's a great deal, you're just replacing your shoes every sort of one to two months

Ok, so Skechers aren't exactly investment footwear, but what is he doing to wear them out in two months?

Is there a liquid cooled version?

This is the Beetle, you're after the Golf

On closer inspection these are loafers

  • Why do the oldies love these? are they super light?
(I had a pair 30 years ago, they were good back then.)

  • I like Skechers and have owned a few pairs over the years without issues.

  • Bought a pair but it is priced at $44.99 at Perth store.
