yes, everyone would prefer longer battery life especially for the smartwatch
but battery improvement is really slow.we are still using the same lithium batteries since original iphone
the only way for the battery to be the same hours or improve a bit is to have more efficient CPUs and lower power cores for non intensive tasks.
Most iphones updates nowadays are just incremental updates of CPU, camera
but the battery is still the same.
If the new CPU delivered better battery life I'd be all for it. Seems like any power boost is going into running siri on the device instead, which I'm not sure is a huge selling point.

if they made the CPU more efficient or include lower power cores then it could improve the battery life.it's the best we can get nowadays since they still use lithium batteries
until they use new battery tech ie graphene,
but that is still going to be a long time before we see that happening.

Yep totally agree. Only real differences between S9 and S8 seem to be a brighter screen (up to 2000 nits instead of 1000), a new processor which can handle some Siri queries on the watch without sending it back to the phone, which should mean faster responses, a better Ultra Wideband chip for find my enhancements and 64gb storage instead of 32gb. Big yawn.
doubt jb will have these again but end of last year i got a green s7 45mm for $380 using 10% off gift cards
