    Hmmm i feel the https://www.lenovo.com/au/en/p/laptops/yoga/yoga-2-in-1-series/yoga-7i-gen-8-(14-inch-intel)/len101y0030

Upping that to 16gb ram works out better value

    • The $150 price difference between the 13th gen Intel here vs the 11th gen at TGG is worth considering.

Holy sh** this processor is almost 3 years old at this point

    DO NOT BUY

This is 11th gen, notably the generation before Intel massively increased core counts. Even worse, it's part of the quad-core H35 range, probably the worst processor lineup since we had dual-core i7s.

    Cinebench R23 benchmarks:

    11370H (11th gen)
    4 cores, 8 threads
    - single core: 1511
    - multi core: 5660

    13700H (13th gen)
    14 cores, 20 threads
    - single core: 1870 (24% faster)
    - multi core: 17612 (211% faster!!! That's over TRIPLE the performance)

It should be illegal to sell 11th gen parts in 2023, let alone 2024

Unless you really want Intel, you can get this Yoga 7 for $1388 which comes with AMD 7735u + 680m GPU, 16GB DDR5, 1TB and OLED. 2 in 1 also.
