one thing i have learnt is to avoid buying pillows online. especially memory foam.

    • why is that? Share your experience w/ us please.

      • They are never good. cheap. have no memory foam properties could be too hard or too soft. Pillows are something that you need to try before you buy.

    • +1 to that.

Normal price. IKEA sells a very similar size/shape memory foam pillow (polyurethane) for $18ea. No need to buy 2.

I think the 2 pack design is for husband and wife, LOL

Buy a 2 pack and pay $2 more (compared to ikea link above)? No thanks…

      • What if the wife uses two pillows but the husband only uses one? Lolololololol.

        • Then buy two sets, and let the son use the spare one! :DDDD

Apparently jokes aren't allowed. So I'll say it plainly - you can see quite clearly that only having availability in two packs is less convenient and provides fewer options than being able to buy singles at the same or a slightly lower price.

  • Aldi special from Weds 19 Sept is assorted memory foam pillows $29.99 each.

  • I bought them in the past
    they smell bad.
so, despite the benefits, I had to throw them away.

    • Quite common: "When new, some memory foams give off a distinct chemical odor, which many people find unpleasant and some say is akin to the smell of paint." Wikipedia

There's also different grades and hardnesses of polyurethane foams on the market. Customers are given the impression that all are identical by the use of generic 'memory foam' marketing.

    • Yeh, it took about half a year for the smell to go away from my pillow. Had to constantly put cologne under the pillow cover and always put it in the sun on the weekend. Its like a normal pillow now.

  • Has anyone had experience with these pillows? Are they any good?
