"Up to" 75% off. What is the average level of discount one can expect? Only reason I ask is that one hotel out of 55k can be 75% off to make the marketing statement true.

  • Appears to require a Visa "Signature" card. I'm not sure how exclusive these are.

  • You can use any Visa card to login with your first 6 digits of your card here: http://visa.phoenixhotelnetwork.com/pages/home

From the Hotels I selected, it seems about 10% cheaper than the direct Hotelclub website.

  • this will go great with the free asia tickets http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/79966

  • i clicked through to
'Summer sale is here! Get more from your stay with Visa and enjoy greater savings at up to 75% off at www.hotelclub.com/visa .'

And just looking at marina bay sands, the visa deal is more expensive than just going to the hotels own site.

marina bay site excludes tax, hotelclub includes tax

incase any one need first 6 digit of a visa card

you can buy prepaid visa giftcard @ post office

    • Or get a Load&Go Visa prepaid card from the post office and setup it under your name and address through the online card registration. That way you can reload it if need be at any post office when you're on holidays some where in Australia. If outside Australia well it seems you can reload it through the internet using Paypal.

  • Definitely worth comparing the rates with what you get from wego.com (a price comparison website for hotels).

These days hotelclub.com usually doesnt come out cheapest.. Which is a shame cos they have a good little reward scheme.

    • I checked the Hotels.com/Visa site price against the Wego.com site price for a hotel I'm actually staying in in Michigan in a few weeks and Hotels.com/Visa was cheaper…worth another look in future.

  • Also look at Hotelscombined.com as well as wego.com.au for Comparing Hotel pricing.

  • Anyone booked a room via this website before? Must it be Visa Signature or normal Visa will do?
