  • International ordering from this mob can be a little annoying. They'll send you an email and you need to fil in further information like your gamertag before they'll send you the code. So expect a couple of hours delay when buying.

There are many cheaper places. eg:

    http://www.ozsave.com/xbox-360/accessories/xbox-live-12-2-14… - $44.99 for 14 months digitally delivered.

    http://gamecard.com.au/my/shopdisplayproducts.asp?search=yes… - $39 for 12 months digitally delivered.

    http://gamecard.com.au/my/shopdisplayproducts.asp?search=yes… - $43 for 14 months digitally delivered.

And all Xbox Live Gold codes are region free.

    EDIT: spelling

    • yeah i agree. I got my 14month sub from ozsave last week. took them a few days and a bit of prompting, but worth the $ saving.

So did I. It went without a hitch. You give them your mobile number and they give you a code that you sms back. Then They send you an image of the back of the retail box, that has your Xbox code on it. All up less than 10 minutes till i was a gold member.

Paying for subscription specifically for GAMING is not what a true ozbargin would spend on. So last gen business model…

    • +1 to getting rid of gaming subscriptions. But it's not specifically for GAMING. It provides access to other services and game/content discounts. Plus it's only $3 a month. Hardly costs anything.

How much do people spend a month on Foxtel movie/tv services?

      • But if you compare a $50 Xbox Gold subscription VS $50 PSN+ subscription, which one do you get more bang for buck?

        • Wouldn't have a clue. The point being made by ChickenAdobo was that a gold sub only gives you access to GAMING, when in fact it gives you access to a range of services and discounts. Compare that with the money people pay for a Foxtel sub which only gives you access to movies and TV at a significantly larger monthly cost (one month of Foxtel costs just as much as a year's xbox/psn sub) and you see that a 'gaming' sub is not very expensive at all.

    • nice troll

  • Cheaper prices are available from more reputable sellers on eBay, and cheaper at ozgameshop where your purchases add to a future discount
