      • I thought CD Project Red was Polish…..

          CD Project Red = Polish
          Ukrainese = Ukrainian

      It's phantom liberty

  • I expect this deal to turn into a forum.
    Inb4 forum about geopolitics

  • also on stream like this but it is more tricky to do.

  • Is the game included or is this just the dlc? Can anyone tell me thw price of the game on the Ukrainian GOG store please?

    • +3

This is for the DLC only. Cyberpunk itself is also on sale via Ukraine VPN/GoG, down to 17.99 USD / Approx. $28 AUD.

  • We need similar deal for Steam version please.

Would anyone preorder this? That would be the definition of madness.

The original game got good reviews on release and we know what happened there. I guess it doesnt take much to gain some peoples trust back.

        • +3

Even diablo 4 had similar launch ratings.
And look how that game turned out once reality kicked in.

          • +2

@AFAR85: Exactly, unless there is a big incentive to preorder why would you? Especially CDPR.
Hopefully Im wrong and it comes out perfect on release but once bitten twice shy for me.

  • I thought it would be good to support GOG instead of Steam when I purchased BG3, but it took over 4hrs for GOG to email my 2FA code to login and download the game.
I asked for a refund and went with Steam to prevent any future issues.

Have a ton of games on GOG by now and never had any issue with 2 Factor authentication

    • I don't have anything against GOG but when it comes to games I buy from Steam first. The Steam eco system is just that much more mature than the rest out there, for me personally.

CD Projekt Red Games I buy form GOG but they only have 2 or 3 games I want (Witcher 2, 3 & CP2077)

    • He is awesome hey!

Anyone got insight as to whether this is valuable if starting the game from scratch, or if it only really comes into play after finishing the main game? Figuring out whether to hold off until after completing 2.0 base game.

Would this work with an Epic store of cyberpunk?

  • I find GOG via South America VPN is usually the cheapest and is in USD.

  • Haven't even gone further into the base game and have had it on pre-order. Go figure. BTW is this the one with that bugger Elba?

  • Can't get it to work with the Ukraine VPN, but can with the Mexico VPN at a higher price of US$20.37. Going to wait and see the real reviews come out from actual gamers and not the current ones which are mostly media outlets selected by CDPR. They even disclosed that the video that they were allowed to use in their pre-launch reviews come from CDPR and not their own game playthroughs.

    • Watch ACGs review then. He hated Cyberpunk and takes shots at it most weeks on his podcast, even he was surprised by the update. Also every company tries to carefully select who they give review codes to.

  • This works. Make sure to delete your browser GOG cookies before proceeding.
    I used https://www.ivpn.net/
You can pay for 1 week VPN for around $3-4 and then VPN to Ukraine using the client.
I then paid $24 AUD for the DLC using my normal GOG account and it now shows up in my library.

  • Thanks op

Couldn't complete payment using Google pay or CC details. Only Paypal worked.

  • Thanks, used Urban VPN for free Ukrainian VPN. but cant see it in GOG app, can see the order history but not the DLC, where does it show up?

  • I can confirm it works by using free Urban VPN on Ukrainian location, I paid about USD 14.99 (~AUD 24.5 via PayPal) for DLC.

Tips: Using incognito mode on your browser or a new browser that never logged in GOG.com before for the purchase. Otherwise, gog.com will remember AU location and refuse to give your an Urk price.

    • Where do you see it in GOG after purchase?

      • check order history via gog app. You can even see refund option over there.

        • Yeah can see in order history but not in the actual game section
Edit:never mind showed up in the game

Great find! Thank you! (Paid 23.3 AUD via PayPal using NordVPN)

  • Has anyones account ever been banned having mixed vpn/location purchases on GOG?

    I've heard steam does this

    • Doubtful. Plus the games are non-DRM so once you download it, as long as you keep the files you can play it anywhere

  • still works. just bought it, You can put the money into gog account and buy it with gog cash if there is an issue with payment

  • price shows as 29.99 usd?

    • For CP2077 yes.

For the expansion, its still 14.99 USD
