    210w is insane 🤣

    • +2

Best part is power in is super fast as well so it charges up quick. 100w car charger and this is all you need for any trip

      • Agreed. I have this powerbank and its really good

      • I have the same setup and the Power bank hardly ever went below 50% during a recent 1 month trip

  • Output

    USB-C 1 (orange): 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 15V/3A, 20V/5A 100W MAX
    USB-C 2: 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 15V/3A, 20V/2.25A 45W MAX
    USB-A: 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 15V/3A, 20V/5A 100W MAX (with the included Xiaomi proprietary USB-A to USB-C cable)

How odd they use a proprietary cable, guess that means it’s technically not a USB cable.

    • +2

USB-A was not designed for high wattage.i think they just have a beefed up USB-A connector on both sides. So technically the standard minimum but better.

    • Any quality 5A cable will be the same. Cheapo cables won't charge at the full 20V 5A because of the voltage drop PD chips will sense on the recieving side

      • I guess my concern would be that they've disabled all other cables unless it has some chip or certain pinout or something.

        • +1

          No, it's a normal USB-A out port.
It's very useful because you get an extra full power USB-C output if required.

  • It may run out quick - the seller told me limited coupons and it started at 12am (I wanted to make a deal post but I can’t find an option/don’t know how to post deals)

  • No coupon for me?

  • +1

    That went quick

  • +2

Well that was pretty anti-climatic. Have been waiting all week for this deal (as it had been previously hinted at) and gone in 20mins?

    • +2

Perhaps DM the seller. I have found them super helpful

      • +1

thanks do you DM on Ozbargain or Amazon generally? Legit have had the item in my cart the whole time arrive at work and see the post rush to checkout and no dice :(

    • +1

Coupons actually started at 12am, seller told me to let me know if I miss out on the deal - I think they would be willing to issue you an individual coupon

  • +4

@MostlyMelbourne ANy chance of adding more coupons ? TA

    • @mostlymelbourne Could you please let me know or dm a code too

    • @MostlyMelbourne ditto here as well 👍

    • Would also love a code!

    • Should just repeat the Amazon sale. They did that last time when I missed out.
Love it, want a few more now 👍

Best charger ever. I have 2. Was going to buy a third for the fam, but missed the sale… I wish Amazon had a price watch and auto buy. Wait for under 140 though.

Unless you are planning to charge multiple laptops when away from a powerpoint you dont need such an expensive and powerful charger to charge phones and tablets.

      • +1

Not entirely true, I think it's worth it if you're charging more than one device especially since these will last several years.

I and many colleagues have had several of these used extensively for nearly 3 years now and these still have minimal cell degradation or other issues.

It's the best bank money can buy, and while it's expensive it's going to last.

  • Dam, missed out, anyone know any other deals going?

  • Is this safe for planes?

  • Power pass through?

  • Would love a code

    Cactus here

I'm too late to say this since it's ended but for anyone in the future, grab these if you ever see them on sale.

I test power banks, I've tested 350+ over a few years now and for nearly 3 years these are in my top 3 best banks of all time, this is probably the best bank money can buy for what it offers.

    Some points about these

    • Genuine Samsung 5000mAh INR 50E 21700 cells that I've tested are consistently ±2%. An insanely good score as 95% of battery banks are up to -25% in their rated capacity.

    • Allow for 100w input, a feature not common in battery banks as charging cells at high power strains cells usually, these cells handle it like it's any other Tuesday.

    • UPS esque passthrough functionality. You can charge and discharge these simultaneously. Meaning if you only have 1 charger but you want to charge multiple devices then you can charge your power bank and attach it to every other device and it will charge everything accordingly.

    • There are cases for these if you want. Those foam or eva style carrying cases where you can also carry several cables in, they're useful as they're fitted for this unit specifically.

    • This point is more about my experience, but I and many colleagues have used several of these units, heavily and lightly, in all ranges of use cases and extents. There are maybe 10-15 people/units and 4 of my own I reference in saying this, every single unit I've ever owned is still running today with minimal degradation to the cells and with no other issues.

Basically the only thing negative I can say about this is

    • it's a bit chunky and heavy, but that's not really a fault.. You just can't truly get these specifications without good cells which are going to be heavy.
    • the capacity indicator light is really bright. It's obnoxiously bright and it flashes when charging which is very bothersome at night.
    • out of curiosity, apart from this one which other powerbanks do you rank in the top 5?

      • The best banks are often the ones not known very well. I haven't got an order yet for my top for this year yet, but I can give an example or two.

It's hard to give recommendations sometimes because they're often no name brands or have generic names, paired with coming from aliexpress its not always an option people would prefer over Amazon or local stores. Plus nobody is regulating capacity and cells so 95% of companies lie about their cells while consumers are left comparing things at face value.

At the end of the day, nearly everything is coming out of china/aliexpress. If you're willing to look at the source of most banks that end up on Amazon (outside some of the biggest known brands that have enough market dominance to market independently) it's usually always aliexpress to begin. There are a lot of high performing options on there.

The 100w variant uses LG 21700 cells that are similar. These are quite good. They perform very well and are the only bank that seems to have the batteries in this arrangement/shape. While it's a bit chunky it's one of the highest true densities you can get.

        • Hi smoothcactus, just wondering how UGREEN 145W Portable Charger, 25000mAh stack up against the ZMI No. 20? Thanks

          • +2

@cray: The 145 UGREEN bank is good. It has no issues that I can point out as negatives and little reason not to get it for what it is as a product.

The UGREEN aren't built as nicely and miss some little things here and there like passthrough/ups functionality and support for cases/pouches.

The most notable thing iirc was that it didn't support 100w charging.. And the battery bank takes a little while longer to charge. Despite that we're still talking in the 2-3hr instead of 1-1.5hr so it's nothing crazy when you consider most cheap banks require 5+ hour charging.

But if you look at it from a comparative standpoint.. Unless they're on sale I struggle to recommend them when you can get the ZMI No20 that has an iron clad track record and the UGREEN is still very very new (released this year)

The UGREEN is a nice new option if you want something in the higher end space as it's up there with some of the best options available.
But if you have the ability to spend a little bit more or can wait for the ZMI to be on sale… Despite being a nearly 2-3 year old product it's unbeaten.

            • @SmoothCactus: Thanks - I did order the ZMI and was curious about the new UGREEN bank. I've been following your comments and look forward to using the ZMI for a trip this year. Cheers

    • How does This stack up?
I got it not too long ago for $79 as the ZMI hadn't been on special for ages. Seems pretty good so far.

      • I don't recall everything about it, but it was fairly decent when I ran it. The circuit design was pretty okay with some average design/topology. Nothing bad or anything.

IMUTO as a brand from some other banks I recall have done some stuff in the past that I haven't liked, they're very finicky about the cells used inside and are inconsistent. I recall seeing mix and matching going on which most companies do to a degree.

Otherwise yeah these ones are alright for the price. True capacity might be around 17-20k, but for the price it's on sale at its not bad.

I don't remember what cells nor did I have any long term data on it so I can't attest to that.

    • Hi Cactus, just researching this power bank and I remembered you commenting on it. I wanted to double check my understanding that this power bank is indeed Qantas Airline safe as its total Wh is under 100? Thanks mate

Edit: I see there is this 210w version and a 200w version (QB826 QB826G), do you know if they are both good units?

  • @MostlyMelbourne would love a code if you can spare one 👍

  • @MostlyMelbourne would appreciate a code also, many thanks
