    +$70 "Belkin".

Pretty much the same with other brands that are way cheaper. Again, 20W.

For what it's worth, this is "Made for MagSafe" Certified, so would charge at full wireless speed for Apple Devices.

        • +21

          There's two types of Magsafe

          1. Made for MagSafe - Apple certified and contains single-wire NFC antenna and can do up to 15W Charging
          2. MagSafe Compatible - Basically just magnets arranged in a circle. Charging max out at 7.5w.

More information about 'MagSafe compatible' vs. 'Made for MagSafe' can be found here

@Fredfloresjr: It's better if you stop commenting.

              • @smartazz104: Honestly though he makes a relevant point. Depending on your use case, paying 5x more for twice the charging speed might be ridiculous.

If you are at work I would argue either is fine.

If you are a cutting edge user who’s every minute is precious, sure, go for it.

This one also fast charges the more recent Apple Watches, a lot of the cheap docks don't support watch fast charging.

      6 years ago I bought 2 powerbanks,
The "Belkin" one and non-"belkin" one.
      $79 x $32

One was shit after 1 year
the other still going strong after 6 years.
I will let you guess which is which.

      • +3

        The non Belkin? lol

  • Looking at the back of the iPhone 15 the camera lens grid seems a little bigger. Does anyone know if this charger is compatible with the iPhone 15?

    • It looks like a standard magsafe charger, and its raised. It should be fine.

Thanks OP, I just purchased from Amazon

  • Doesn’t take advantage of iPhones new standby mode?

    • It’s flat. What do you think?

  • Wanting a stand version for the new dock display mode…

    • Belkin's 2 in 1?

    • Good Guys also have the 3-in-1 stand version (White only) for $109 if you can price beat somewhere or near a store with stock (no online stock).

For the ESR Charger, the Watch charger is "Made for Apple Watch" certified but the Phone charger is only "Compatible with Magsafe" - as per ESR Product Page

The Belkin Charger, is "Made for Magsafe" certified - as per Belkin Product Page

          • +1

@RichardL: The 3 in 1 by DH8 for $109 looks good. But no fast charge on the watch.

The Belkin WIZ017 is the newer version of the Belkin WIZ009. It supports fast charging for Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch Series 7, and Apple Watch Ultra, while the WIZ009 only charges these watches on a regular speed. The WIZ017 is also compatible with newer Apple devices.

            Goodguys listing is wiz009

      • This is a really good price for the 3 in 1 used to be $180-$230 just after release of iPhone12 I forced myself not to buy it becuase it really is the perfect all in 1 apple solution but couldn’t justify the price. If it was this proce back then ide grab it in a heart beat

  • Does this do fast charging for Apple Watch 8?

    • +3

      As per Belkin Product Page

      • Fast Charging for Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch Series 7, and Apple Watch Ultra

Apple finally, FINALLY releases an iPhone with USB-C charging and the first thing you do is buy a Magsafe/wireless charger. This isn't like rain on your wedding day, or ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife. No, this is actually ironic.

    • Just an fyi 99% of the population charges their phone at night next to their bed. Any recent iPhone easily lasts the day so don’t need to charge it up on the go. Plopping ya phone on a MagSafe charger beats searching for the cable that slide down the side of the bed any day. Especially when youve got a 3in1 so can have your AirPods/phone/watch all in one place don’t need 3 different cables getting into a tangled mess

      • Oh I'm totally on board with Magsafe (one of the reasons I switched my wife and I to iPhone was for Magsafe) - I just find it funny that it took years for Apple to finally give us USB-C… and then it doesn't get used

  • This ESR 3 in 1 is an excellent charger (https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0CCV9WCZ9?ref_=cm_sw_r_mwn_dp_…. I bought one over the Belkin one based on various reviews which rated the ESR charger as one of the best. It's true that the iPhone charger is not Magsafe certified, so you only get 7.5W rather than 15W, but given this charger is for overnight charging it doesn't make a difference for me. The build quality of the ESR is great and looks and feels like it was made by Apple.

I was going to pick up the Bellkin charger, but after some poor feedback and charging issues, I went for the ESR instead. https://www.macrumors.com/2023/08/30/belkin-3-in-1-charger-i…

Note that the Belkin charger is actually an old model and was replaced with this version https://www.amazon.com.au/Belkin-Boostcharge-MagSafe-Wireles… (which is the one with charging issues).

Got one, now I just to buy a iphone, apple watch and airpods with megsafe.

  • We bought a couple of these when we got our iPhone 14's last year. They've been great as single units to charge iPhone/Watch/AirPods in one spot.

  • You guys got anything for Android

  • Got couple of Aldi's 3 in chargers (cygnett) some time ago and they been really good without any dramas.
For people that are buying new iPhones I'd recon get a mag safe compatible model which will be a real game changer

  • Any recommendations for Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel Watch and Sony XM5 Buds

    Can't find any reputable ones

  • I bought 2 of these at RRP and they’re still great value. They’re great for travelling as they take up very little room, and they’re fairly solid. We previously had two of the Mophie fold up ones and they both broke within a few months.

The power adaptor is also really slim which is awesome. I find when I’m on the road, or even at home, that my closest power outlet is often behind a bed or side table.

One thing to note: the iPhone lays flat on the charger, so you’re not gonna get the home hub feature going on this unit.

  • FYI, price beat at Officeworks still with The Good Guys.

Shame I had the Ultimate gift card for Him which doesn't cover Officeworks to get the extra 15% off but oh well.
