Wurkkos WK03 1800lm SST40 USB-C Rechargeable Light (without Battery) US$10.49 (~A$16.29) Delivered @ Wurkkos

750
WKBD25

Pretty fancy torchlight for what it costs. I've been looking at it for a while and it's the best price I've seen.
USB-C rechargeable battery and lot of functions on a single button!

Specifications:

  • 1 X High Power LED Luminus SST40
  • Working Voltage: 2.7V - 4.2V
  • Dimension: 101.5mm (length) × 24.7mm (head diameter) x 55g (without battery)
  • Flashlight body: Aerospace grade 6061 grade aluminum alloy
  • USB Type-C Charging
  • Mode Memory: memorizes the last brightness level used in the general modes (except Moon, Turbo and Strobe)
  • Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) technology
  • Reverse polarity protection: it cuts off the power while battery inserted improperly.
  • LVP: while on, if the battery voltage is lower than 2.7V, it turns off automatically.
  • HVP: while on, if the battery voltage is higher than 4.35V, it turns off automatically.

You can choose between two different light temperatures: the lower (5000k) has a lower brightness but is more "human-friendly".

To get the 25% discount, you'd need to have 2 item in the cart.
The cheapest option I've find is to add an AirTag case to the order (is the cheapest thing I've found!) then apply the code. You'll get the torch, plus the useless AirTag case and free Fluorescent Silicone Rings for A$17.16 delivered.
(If the code doesn't work, just add another item to the cart and delete it after applying the code.)

You'll also get some free Fluorescent Silicone Rings!

my "Perfect Order" has been:

All these for A$23.29 delivered!

  • Thanks, bought one without a battery , silicone ring and a magnetic tail switch for $19.49.

    • Also in past posts I've seen lot of people buying it without battery. May I ask you why you already have it? Where is that kind of battery used?

      • +2

I bought a lot of Kogan C8 Stick Vacuum Cleaner Battery for $5 each. Because they are flat head batteries , so they couldn't be used with my Sofirn SD01.

        • Are those cells any good?

          • +3

@Phlume: After a year of use, I don't think they are any different than the $10 Samsung batteries I bought on eBay. I don't know how to test if they are good or bad, but they hold the charge very well, 4 months later it still has 4.1v.

Power tool batteries, power banks, old laptop batteries, older Tesla cars…

Heaps of things use 18650s. I pull them from broken devices for my own uses.

But sketchy so I wouldn't try it if you don't know what you're doing

Code works with just one item, if it doesn't, just add 2 and delete one after applying the code.

    • You're right! I update the post!

    • I couldn't see any way to delete items on the checkout page though. And if I go back, change items and go to checkout the code is no longer applied.

        • Looks like you're using a mobile browser, maybe it doesn't work for Chromium based browsers on a windows PC.
Just loaded up the site on my phone (Brave on Android) and the coupon code does seem to "stick" now.

Legend, got your 'perfect order'. Thanks!

  • Wonder how long this will stay at 1800 lumens before it dims?

    • They say 2hrs but I'm more afraid for how long the torch will last in lifetime, it's still a 15$ powerful torchlight…

      • +1

Purchased one a while back, used it around 5 times, then DEAD. Pay cheap, get cheap!

    • +2

About 60s, then it drops to ~600 (high) and slowly ramps down from there. Fairly typical behaviour.

      • Thanks new it wasn’t 2 hrs, where did you find that info?

        • Reviews, I'm looking for an 18650 flashlight myself so have been looking around.

    • +1

ZeroAir did some runtime tests and posted a review:
      https://zeroair.org/2022/11/03/wurkkos-wk03-flashlight-revie…

Turbo started around 1500 lumens, maintained 1350 lumens for about 1 minute, dropped to 600 lumens after 1 minute 20 seconds.

It's direct drive, so the output drops as the voltage drops.

There are heaps of reviewers listed here:
      https://budgetlightforum.com/t/reviewer-list-for-manufacture…

You can often find written reviews on blogs and video reviews on YouTube.

Anyone know how this cycles through modes?

The cheap crappy flashlights seem to insist on cycling through strobe on a regular basis, is it possible to never accidentally get this into strobe?

    • +2

Triple click for strobe. Hold button to cycle through low, med, high modes. Double press button for turbo.

Careful with payment, I noticed paypal was not changing the discounted price on checkout, regardless of the number of Items.

    • Good shout! Nearly caught me out

    Looks like Sofirn sc18 clone

    • +3

Pretty sure the sofirn factory manufactures this brand

They also share tech, development ideas etc according to someone on a light forum.

  • Magentic tail is out of stock

    • It's in stock for me…

  • +1

Any deals on the battery please 🙏

  • How long is the delivery?

    • No idea, I can't see any ETA…

    • Usually takes about 2 weeks.

Thanks OP all worked well for me.

  • +1

Thanks OP. Got the perfect order, $23.16

  • +1

    Am I missing something? It's coming up as 12.74 w/ battery…

    • That's in US$

  • +1

Coming up as entirely different price all together in Paypal. Went from $15.50 to $25 USD at checkout. Something is wrong with the Wurkkos web page.

    • the express checkout option didn't seem to apply the discount, need to fill out the address etc then the paypal option pops up under the discounted price on the left.

  • +2

Make sure you have change the currency to AUD on the website.

  • Thanks op. My c3 torch died so replaced it with this one. Hopefully it'll last longer.
Anyone know where to buy cheap 18650 batteries?

This post made me aware of the launch of the new titanium TS10. Many thanks.

    • It's a useful torch though I just checked my brass TS10 and the battery was 0.2V. RIP Vapcell L10

      • Oh, no! Does your brass TS10 have Anduril version 202202080614 or older? There was an update to Anduril to make low voltage protection work for the aux LEDs.

        • How do we check if it has been updated?

I know one of the bugs was the aux LEDs always being on, if they turn off when the flashlight is on can we assume it's up to date?

          • @Hiphopopotamus: If you perform 15 clicks when the torch is off, it will flash out the numbers (like 202202080614). E.g. Flash, flash for 2. Partial flash for 0.

            • @Tim Mc: Yeah I got it, the one I bought recently from AliExpress is version 202207190714 so I'm in the clear.

  • +1

15 clicks flashes the Anduril version in later versions - iirc since 2 years ago or so. I have some Anduril lights that are too old

    • +1

Worked, my recently purchased Al TS10 is on version 202207190714.

  • Has anyone received their torch? My parcel has been lost, so it seems.

    • Yep received no problem.

      • Thank you. Disappointing for me but Wurkkos customer service are looking into it for me. Hopefully I end up getting it.

        • Just an update, Wurkkos Customer Service so far has been top notch. Prompt with replies to emails and they're resending the lost Parcel. Hopefully it arrives this time.
