I got the q45 about a month ago. Pretty happy with them so far.
Im pretty happy with them as well.
Some people may prefer the sound profile of the q30s and the fit and feel over the 45s.
For 53 extra you get ldac, improved anc (anc with aux) better modes etc, a much better transparency mode and a headband that seems more durable as well.
Edit : q30s are back to their $150 price. I'd spend the extra $3 and grab the 45s.
If you have android you can always grab something like wavelet and custom eq the 45s to sound how you want (wavelet has more options than soundcore app)
I got the Q35s for $130 last November… they're pretty good… the problem with the Q30s is the ANC doesn't work using the AUX cord.
Yep it doesn't. Did work before a fw update but wasnt supposed to work in the first place.

Some ways q30s are better, others the q45s.

For $100 the q30s sound great, good nc, good sound profile, reasonable fit, good battery life.
The worst part is the headband cracks on its own and its a case of when not if.
Anker has replaced people's headphones under warranty but mine were an import and past 12 months so just taped them up on the spot where it happened.
