    I know this makes me a bad OzBargainer bc I should know all this but
    Can I just use $2 Amaysim SIM and port back next day? That won't work because I need to activate a plan. So $10 starter pack?
    I'm not sure of fastest cheapest way to port out and back in.

      I would think as long as you port out of the Boost network it should work. If your phone shows you’re connected a non-Telstra network that’s fine. You shouldn’t need to purchase a plan. You can then immediately port back to Boost on the same day. Someone with more experience may want to confirm this.

      You may find lebara, amaysim, Vodafone etc sims in close/woollies for $4-$5 which are valid for 28 days to port out and come back

  Does Boost use full Telstra network and full 5G?
  Also, Wifi calling enabled? There are hardly any signal around my place- North West Sydney.

    Full Telstra network coverage including 5G, but capped speed at 150Mbps, yes to wifi calling. But no eSim at this stage.

        Oh yes, strange text. Activation ends a day prior to sim sale - maybe they messed it up (or) could be deprived of 20GB data if really not activated by today ‽
