What's with the fake cross through pricing on your site???

    https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:TaMCCb…

      • +16

That is deceptive and misleading then and against ACCC advertising laws for price comparisons.

        • -8

Not sure why it is misleading for one and not for another, like JB hifi or Cygentt or others. You can see discounted prices in major retail store in Australia everyday. What you see on the website is a price we determine based on the product performance and contents we offer. We don't determine based on competitor, sorry my bad.

            @ibelievesyd:

Not sure why it is misleading

Because the law says it is…

            https://www.accc.gov.au/business/pricing/price-displays#toc-…

Ways that a displayed price can be misleading
Stating the sale price is marked down from an earlier price when:
            * the items were not sold at that price in a reasonable period right before the sale started, or
            * only a very small proportion of items were sold at that price right before the sale.

@jv is actually right for once.

I have never seen JB Hi-Fi pull stunts like this. If they lower their sale price, it is indeed a genuine offer from their previous retail price (i.e. their normal retail price isn't artificially inflated).

Please feel free to prove us wrong.

@DoctorCalculon: I am not an expert on this subject but I will check with seniors. We will fix it if we are not following these guidelines.

          • +3

@ibelievesyd: I have never seen any reports or cases of JB doing this. The ACCC are extremely proactive and on the hunt for retailers who do this. They have a track record of successfully bringing and winning lawsuits against anybody and everybody that engages in these practices.

Companies that have done it include Dell and some other PC companies in the past. Specifically Dell were recently fined $10 Million, ordered to refund all customers and undergo a litany of changes.

If your discounted price is not what the actual rrp was, YOU ARE BREAKING THE LAW.

@SmoothCactus: I understand your and jv's point. We will review pricing again and make the necessary changes to comply.

There's absolutely no way you believe this to be ethical or okay to do.

        • He’s feigning ignorance.

  • +1

With most walls being white I’m not sure why you would make your chargers black

    • +2

so you can spot it from far away?

Messing up my feng shway smh

        • +2

but checking ying and yang sign it is always one black one white side?

  • Does this, or any of your other chargers support Xiaomi 67w turbo charge?

    • I think the Xiaomi is proprietary charging technology, same as Realme and Oppo. My 120watt Zyron doesn't charge my Realme at 65watts but i do get almost the full 33 watts on my Pixel 7 Pro.

      • +1

oppo's VOOC charging cable has wider pins on the plug.

    • Unfortunately not. That's a proprietary protocol which our chargers do not support.

  • Is this a good quality charger or a heymix type?

    • +11

      Cactus here

I haven't tested this specific unit, but I have several Zyron units that I've ripped apart. They're good stuff.

      4 cacti out of 5

  • What charging protocols apply too the USB a port only?

  • Pretty good price for 100W charger

  • USB C1 + C2 + A
    65W + (18W Shared)

    What does this mean?

    • +1

It shows how the power is split for different combinations of port use. If all 3 ports are occupied the top USB-C port will supply 65W and the other two combined will have 18W between them.

So you’d plug the high powered device like a laptop into port 1 and then lower powered devices for slower charging like a phone or smart watch into ports 2 and 3.

  • Does this support Samsung 45w charging ("Superfast Charging 2.0") for the S23 Ultra? I couldn't tell from the description.

    • +1

      PPS USB-C1 PPS 3.3V-21V5A

      It should.

I have the 65W model and can confirm it does Super Fast Charging 2.0 for the S23 Ultra and Tab S9.

    • Yes it can

  • Is this good enough to charge a usb-c laptop?

    • Yes it supports up to 100W for laptops.

    • 65w is usually what my laptops come with, so yes.

  • I found I bought this 100w a few yr ago
    https://www.progadgets.com.au/choetech-universal-100w-type-c…
    It's basically 7x6.5x3cm, cost $59

This is 55x55x30mm so hasn't changed much in these 2 years has it?

Have we hit the size limit?

  • Any deals on the 100W travel charger?

    • Please reach out via chat button on the website and they will offer you a deal as it is still on pre-order

  • I don't get the 59.99 price for eBay plus when I follow the link. Actually get $74 price.
    Is this deal expired?
