I think that's pretty much the same price for a couple of weeks as I was waiting and see if there is a bigger discount at some stage.

$539 through Ebay https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/164022233809 using code SNSSEP23 at checkout. Not sure about the seller though compared to Amazon.

Recommend buying the C3 instead if it's an option. Bagged machines are always better than the bagless equivalent.

    • C1 is also pretty good. Same vacuum motor if I recall correctly just a few less attachments and other stuff.

      • C1 is 900w, this one is 1100w. Others are ~2000w.

I recently bought the c1, makes my Dyson V8 look like a toy, amazing machine!

        • C3 is 2000w, big step up over the 900w C1.

Would also recommend the C3, especially if you have pets.

    • And here I was thinking when I saw this post: wow, I sure am happy that bagless vacuums are now the norm. Couldn't go back to using bags myself

      • With bagless there's too much manual cleaning involved. I have both and prefer bags.

          ?? what manual cleaning ?

          • @freesteakknives: The canister that collects the dust gets dirty and dusty, you need to clean that, so do the filters, and so does the motorhead (Miele has less moving parts, easier to clean)

With the bags, you just chuck them out and pop in a new filter when needed.

@TEER3X: Can't say that I've ever really suffered from that. I went to bagless when sanding plasterboard and the fine dust was very fine and clogged the bags. Not the typical use case though I admit. I've bought a proper plasterboard sander with external dust collector since. I find the canister doesn't get overly dirty if you don't overfill it. I blow it out with the leaf blower every now and then to dislodge any dust. The filter is a 30 second clean under a running tap. The bagless came with two filters so you don't have to wait for the filter to dry. Having said that I don't have anything against a bagged vac for typically cleaning

I do have an issue with motorheads, bagged or bagless, because they are not recommended for the type of carpet I now have and voids the warranty on the carpet

Bagged machines typically have a longer life, better suction, are more hygienic. They're also usually about the same in cost of maintenance despite the cost of bags - the replacement fine dust filter in this machine if about $200.00 for example.

Bagless vacuums are a terrible decision.

Yes!!!! Someone that knows what they’re talking about. Bagged all the way

  • It was $499 in August so not a great price now.
