"OMEN Citadel" won the Nolan award for the all-time most pretentious name for a plastic swivel chair.

    • great reading, got excited and the start then to be slapped with a fish.

  • Shipping & Handling (Delivery - Courier - StarTrack for Commercial Address Only) $60.70

Shipping cost for Brisbane. Not sure what they mean by commercial only.

    • Saw the same thing though commercial for me was like $45 and the other premium Startrack option was $95

    • Possibly on a pallet or skid because of the size, so either needs a loading bay or forklift.

      • +1

No - they just come in a big box. No pallet or skid.

    • +1

Freight companies like Startrack and TNT now have surcharges for deliveries to residential addresses, as well as 'oversize' or irregular shaped packages.

"… and best suited for 175cm+ tall people"

This is just like tinder all over again.

  • checking Ow to price match now

Edit : OW advised that they will price match , BUT, will also add the delivery fee ontop , so $429

    • How to click and collect price match? It says need to place order and then the store will have it on 4 oct… So no where its available, then how the price match works?

      • call the store or hotline , online chat

        • +1

Just bought in store. 5 oct store ready for collection

  • Any feedback on how this compares to ergonomic chairs from Steelcase, Herman Miller, Haworth, Ergohuman, etc?

It looks like CPL Online don't have a blanket change of mind returns policy unlike HP's online store.

Racing style "gaming" chairs are a scam and are nowhere near as ergonomic as any of the ones you listed.

    • +1

Not near as exciting but you would be better off going for an ergonomic one for the same price: https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B0BKQ53TN3/

    • Chairs from Steelcase, Herman Miller, Ergohuman are designed with ergonomics in mind. This is a gaming chair that is discounted.

    • For further information, I also just got an ergohuman chair at discount and it feels nothing like a gaming chair. This link helped to explain things https://arielle.com.au/gaming-chair-vs-ergonomic-chair/

  • Great chair - bought it for my son - it is very big and heavy, but feels super comfortable and the quality is excellent - recommended from a mate who has had it for a few years and says it looks and functions as good as the day he bought it - more importantly, the armrests drop low enough that they fit under a standard desk!

material hasn't started to peel yet??

      • Not at all…

    Supports up to 300 lbs

    Rules out most of OzB.

    • Well everyone here buys 10 of everything, so I think they'll be alright if they spread the load.

  • Oohhh, this would go well with the laptop I bought from this deal:

  • Can anyone say what cpl is like and what is with StarTrack for Commercial Address Only does that mean will not deliver unless i am a business

  • Can it fit in sedan trunk? Toyoto

    • +2

      chinese version of Toyota?

      • Swiss one

    • Depending on what Toyota sedan you have - maybe not. Needed a hatch/SUV to pick mine up.

unbox in store put parts in car. easy

I owned one of these for 1.5 years before selling it - I used it mainly for working from home and it got me through many 10-11 hour days without too much pain considering I was recovering from a back injury from a car accident as well (car crashed up the back of my stopped vehicle on the highway - the other driver wasn't paying attention and didn't notice traffic had stopped). These are MUCH better comfort wise to Secret Lab chairs and they use "PVC Leather" not the PU leather that's prone to cracking and flaking.

  • Heading to melbourne next week so perfect timing. Bought one to replace my dogshit peeling chair thats 6 years old.

    • You sat on dogshit?

  • This one or from temple and webster?

  • and landfill in 366 days

    • Landfill what? This omen chair?

  • Its showing $549 for me?

  • +1

BPC have it for $399 so pricematched with Officeworks and c&c at local store. CPL cancelled my order due to miscommunication and their customer service is not responding to my emails. Wouldn't buy from them in future

    • Can you send me a receipt please mate? might give this a crack as the main deal is expired.
