    10,000mAh
Devices can use 20W USB-C and 18W USB-A wired charging, or 7.5W wireless charging.

    Seems exxy for the size

Could go Kogan for $48 with faster wireless charging

    • Kogan one says it supports 15W wireless charging, twice the W the Anker says it can do.

Or this from Amazon with free shipping:

      • LUCKYDUO sounds like a fake trademark for generic Chinese products. But can't be worse than wherever Kogan source their shit.

        • So Anker or lucky duo? I will never buy kogan regardless how much. Hope it doesn’t explode on an airplane.

  • Gruber (who’s usually a bit of an Anker shill) reckons these are not as good as the Apple ones.

I’ve no idea bout capacities but something to consider. I usually assume Anker’s as good as anything else on the market but seems like that may not be the case in this instance.

Apple don't sell them anymore do they? Presumably because they don't have a USB C model ready. From what I've read the Apple one is great, and charges fast, but the capacity is low possibly because it was made to fit on the back of the old iPhone mini. Hopefully a new one comes out that is made to fit the iPhone SE, which rumours say will be the same body shape as the regular iPhone 12.

That’s my understanding, though I’d reckon they’re not too hard to find until stock’s dry (could be exhausted already I guess).

Still available on Amazon as of this morning.

          • @Shenannigoat: correct, and still available at some brick and mortar retailers (e.g. picked one up from officeworks the other day for my partner with an ihphone 14)

Been using one semi-regularly with ihphone 13 pro for 2 yrs now. one of the best examples of an apple product that 'just works'. handy that it can be wirelessly charged thru an ihphone that's plugged in. personally find it best to stick on for longer periods of time while the phone isn't being actively used to keep heat down and maximise the smaller capacity, then take off and use just the phone; rinse and repeat. using it this way i can get 60-70% added to the 13 pro, enough to get thru a heavier day starting with a full charge on both.

            • @Gdsamp: I’m considering getting one but it’s not a need. Also I just upgraded to a 15 Pro and I’m curious to see if they’ll bring out one with a USB-C port.

              • @Shenannigoat: theyre defs waiting on qi2 certification to be finalised, it is believed the 15 series already supports it but they cant release anything stating that it is

      • I believe Apple is waiting for QI2 spec to release, then the new model will come.

There's a new anker model of the 10k sizes that's on the us website but not available in aus yet.

They're really targeting the Apple sheep in selling "iPhone compatible usb C" options 😂

So many people love to trot out the unoriginal “Apple sheep” insult, almost as if they’re actually part of some sort of flock…

        K

  • I was seriously planning to buy this model until I saw the info on the new models coming out in October/November, they support Qi2 now, so if you're an iPhone 15 user you'll be able to charge at 15W.

    • I’m buying it for iPhone 12. I have a 15 but not traveling with it

      • Where are you going? I'm headed to Japan and the 633 is about $80 there, cheaper if yo get it tax free.. might be worth holding off.

        • For 15 def need to wait, there isn’t a certified pb supporting fully compatible with it.
