I still have my 310 unopened but was trying to keep it for special occasions. Chat here has me curious as OP and others have tried to compare it to the 310. If it is comparable, this seems great at the price but if it's more compared to the 110 then maybe not the greatest deal in comparison.

I also hear some of the reviews say the Samsung is half the price of jbl 310 in their overseas marketI just watched the video. I'm always hella sceptical of someone trying to do a "bass test" using a potato. Would rather it just be labelled a "comparison". But it was fairly apparent the JBL (110) was much clearer and/or handled the bass a little better. For some reason the Samsung seemed more muddled and didn't have equally punchy bass. Though, I only watched the review with a single earphone in, it seemed fairly obvious the better product but there seems to be a bunch of reposting naysayers on YT that somehow think the Samsung won out, wtf?
Still haven't forgiven myself for missing that 310 deal. Very tempted to get this, but it seems it's closer to the 110 than the 310.
Nice discount, but maybe too high original RRP.

The best jbl 310 price at the moment is around $480 though (good guys commercial) so the price is probably a reasonably accurate amount.

Definitely $480 right now on Good Guys Commercial. Not the retail store, you need access to the Commerical side, which I have via my union.
Pulled the trigger and got JBL Partybox 310 for $517 price matched at Officeworks from BingLee @ $545.
