  • The $59 looks good for work

    • Don't be silly grab the pink one

      • If it was $58, sure 😊

    • OOS now!

    • No backlight RGB, no deal ;p

    • just got one, 7.95 for delivery isn't bad either

  • Which one is suitable for a beginner?

HN has same prices, if anyone wants to help an old man out.

    • HN has more color options as well.

After what HN did whining to the government about imports, he and his business can get…

Thought I couldn't do without the number pad, after getting used to 75% layout things are just fine. Full size keyboards look huge. :)

These $79 Cherry keyboards at HN are not available for in store pickup. You can only buy them online with delivery which is $17 for me in metropolitan Melbourne.
The same $79 keyboard at Officeworks is available for in-store pickup and eligible for free suburban delivery because it is over $55.

  • Nice. Was waiting for the ck350 to come back into stock but with this will grab a few reds now.

  • Anyone think amazon will match?

These aren't even made of cherry wood, what a scam.

  • for an office based keyboard are any of these suitable/good option for a mech keyboard virgin?
Over my cheap wireless logitech occasionally glitching or missing keystrokes :)

If you really must choose one of these keyboards, choose the red switch variant so you don't become the most annoying and dreaded person in your department (blue switches are the stereotypically loud, clicky switches)

      • Not a must.
Just have new keyboard on my to do list

Might just wait for a deal on a Logitech MX series or something, don't need more excuses to get the annoying label :)

      Any red or brown switches.

There are silent reds which are even quieter.

The mouse in my Microsoft wireless keyboard + mouse combo has died. I've been thinking for a while about buying some piece of junk like the Logitech wireless combos the next time BigW has them on sale, ripping the wireless board out of their absolutely crap keyboard, and putting into a mechanical one instead. Anyone know how much space is inside these? https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/cherry-mx-….

    • I’m not quite sure they have a “wireless board”, might be integrated all into one mainboard. Also, wireless mechanicals have been seen going for $70-100, and often supports 3-mode connection.

      • Yeah good point. I guess I'd better check first.
