    I don't recall seeing any "damaged box" XM5 on sale. Fairly sure all the XM4 and XM5 ones in Sony eBay store the last couple of weeks were either new or seconds.

      Didn't take any. But the box it came with is just a normal white cardboard box with no sony logo, only a sticker that says "sony second". As for the headphones itself, there is no packaging and small defects. But the ear cups look new and smell like new, thank god.
