The link has changed to a different seller, you can still purchase by going to the other Sellers on Amazon section.

      • Thanks. Though it seems there's no White colour version for $164 anymore. Black can be had for $199.

        • +1

I'm still able to add and order the white one for $169.99 from the other Sellers section.

A little more moneys will get you a refurb YAS-209B with wireless sub $379

    • +9

I'm not sure that more than double the price is "a little more"…

      • -1

Sure, there's a use case where a sub is not desirable. But for anyone who's thinking about adding one it's well worth considering a bundle.

  • +1

What sub are you guys pairing with the B20A?

    • Be wary of getting a low-cost wired sub that doesn't include crossover frequency adjustment - as this isn't adjustable from the soundbar.

    • There's a Prime deal on a sub bundle @$249:

      • Weird. SR-C20A does not have subwoofer connection, so can only rely on Bluetooth?

        • I think it's a wireless sub (with mains power)

Update: $169.99 still available. Select Amazon AU from sellers. Dispatch 2-3 days.

    Can't update the description.

    • Dispatch from Amazon AU is 12-18 October (7-13 days). I think the default seller changes to the quickest dispatch time. Default is Deals First with 3-4 days dispatch at the moment.

      • +1

12-18 is estimated delivery date, dispatch (when the item is shipped from the warehouse) is 2-3

        • +1

I think you're right. I must have misread. Shoulda gone to specsavers.

    • how to change seller? or is it all sold out now.

  • does this have Dolby Atmos

  • +1

    Can't ship SR-C20A to Tassie…..Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

Actually it's worse…I can ship the red or white one at $259 but not the black one on special $179.99.

Similarly with the SR-B20A can ship the black one on sale but not the white one.

Amazon help is useless, just "please accept my apologies".

First really bad (non) transaction in many, many years with Amazon…
    :P

  • So confused now - should I go for B or C

    • +3

C is more compact and have AUX input
B have more power output and 3D sound

Depends on what you think is important.

      • Thanks I think B makes sense to me

        • +2

Also, it appears the B has the ability to add a Subwoofer at a later time if you want a bit more punch in your movies and music. As far as I can see the C doesn't allow for this.

      Go DD. :)

  • thanks OP,,

  • Can't deliver to my address. Anyone having the same issue?

  • Why is the black more expensive. So racist!

    • YES

    • I got black YAS-108 from 2018, which seems like the same construction as this. Although its sound is really good, black cloth hasnt aged well with lot of dust embedded. I guess white would be a better option to hide the dust.

      • Nope. Light colour cloth easily show dirty marks on them. My Tannoy surround sound speakers with light grey cloth is an example.

      • +1

Here's a tip, use a lint roller or a tape to pull out the dust.

      • I use the Dyson with roller brush head on it every few weeks, sucks dust out no problems

  • Bought one for the living room. Mrs keep saying the one in the media room is enought, but for $169 its a no brainer. Will double as a stereo via bluetooth music.

And it white - fits into the mrs new home decor

What does your mistress say ?

      • +3

Mistress gets better and expensive one….

    • I got one for the bedroom. We have a 43” Samsung frame so looking for something to improve the sound, especially the dialogue for watching at night. Anything would be better than TV speakers on a wall mounted TV! Also got white for the wife factor… but she doesn’t know I bought it yet lol.

  • Anyone using this as their computer speaker ?

  • +1

I just got mine(B20A). I'm not an audiophile but I am not impressed is my first impression. Its better than my TV speaker in some aspects but when I switched between my Samsung TV speaker and Yamaha soundbar I don't immediately notice the difference. One positive thing that I noticed is the clarity of dialogue voice has much improved, but for games, song, or instruments I don't see much difference.

Also if someone can help, Is it better using HDMI arc or optical cable provided? And does any HDMI cable will do the job or some special HDMI cable is more suited for this?

    • That make me a bit worry, people who have good impression might have poor TV speaker. What is the model of your Samsung TV?

      • Samsung QLED Q70B 75"

        • Found below comment on rting: "The Samsung Q60B has mediocre speakers. It's well-balanced at moderate listening levels, which is great for dialogue, but it doesn't get loud and doesn't produce any bass. Like for most TVs, get a soundbar or a dedicated surround sound setup for the best sound possible"

          • @windwai: I think mine is one model up from Q60B, but indeed the speaker is mediocre and this soundbar doesn't help much in my opinion. My wife also not impressed. I guess now I know what to expect from an entry level soundbar.

I know I shouldn't compare this but I've heard Bose 700 from a friend of mine, the difference is really night and day.

            • +1

@yummypinacolada: Funny thing is I ignored the bose deal back in August and thought I dont need a sound bar. Than I purchased this one =.=

              • @windwai: Just received the sound bar. I am happy with my purchase.

  • Got mine just delivered (C20A). Will give it a run later to see if it's decent.

    • I bought one as well for my pc. Let me know how it sounds.

    • Any update on how it is? Would be eager to hear

      • +1

I have an LG C2 55 in the bedroom and the soundbar audio is night and day between the TV sound. No regrets here.

    • +1

Same, just received my C20A this morning. Watched a few episodes of Gen V from Amazon Prime on my TCL C727 TV. The main differences of this C20A from the TV speakers are clearer spoken dialogue with Clear Voice and stronger bass.

    • +1

Great sound from such a compact and light unit. Being for my secondary tv room, I’m more than happy considering the price this was.
Clear voice setting is good and I increased the bass in the settings as it suits my liking more.

I have a Bose 300 soundbar with subwoofer on my other TV but would quite happily use the secondary tv room more now that I don’t have to listen to the tinny internal tv speakers.

  • Amazon said they delivered my package today (ordered yesterday with a 2-3 day dispatch) but no package in sight. When I track it via Couriers Please it says it was delivered in QLD (I'm in NSW). Live chat wasn't able to help. Looking at potential refund, which I don't want (changed some swap gift cards for Amazon cards). Very frustrating! Hopefully if it goes down the refund route I can ask them for a discount code when it's back in stock.

  • Highly recommend. Also has a subwoofer port. I bought an audiopro 125w sub from a deal here for $129 and it definitely made a big difference for music. Definitely recommend adding a cheap sub.

  • Available again on Prime day sales
